I’ve been ordering from Yummy Yummy ( delivery) over 2yrs-A minimum of once per month, but usually between 1-3 times per week, as they HAD, by far, the best Chinese food in LB & neighboring towns. Since these meals were my dinner while working, why not support local business & enjoy something healthy. There were a couple of occasions where there was hair in my food, &/or minor mistakes, but being in the food service/hospitality industry over 25yrs, I understand these things happen. But NEVER ONCE, w/ the frequency & amount of $$$$ I’ve spent there, has anything been done to make me feel valued-Not even an apology. 3 nights ago I picked up dinner there, & keeping in common Yummy Yummy practice, found hair in my food🙄🤮, but last night, didn’t allow it to deter me, & went to order pickup before work again. The same young woman who has always serviced me came to take my order. I told her I was placing my order online. She ignored that, & was rushing me for my order, which I hadn’t even decided on yet. I ordered & told her about the hair in my food from the other night, which she completely ignored-No apology, nothing! She was extremely RUDE, & though my food was far from ready, demanded payment & basically grabbed the $20 out of my hand, & deposited it in a white 5 gallon bucket next to the door & walked away. She returned a moment later, demanding payment again ( & my food wasn’t even ready.). I told her she took my $ & put it in the bucket next to the door & hadn’t given me any change. She became very nasty & denied it. I said, “I can see it right there! You have surveillance cameras everywhere, I suggest you take a look.”. Which she did, further wasting my time & patience. She then took my $20 out of the bucket & gave me my due change w/ the nastiest look on her face. At that point I was completely done & insisted she give me my $20 back & keep the food! She insisted my food was ready & I take it, which I refused. After arguing w/ her, I told her I was going to call the police. She returned my $20 & told me to call the police. I now had less than 10mins to get to work & was too busy to call & file a complaint against her & the restaurant. In addition, I asked to speak w/ the manager & owner, which she wouldn’t honor the opportunity of. I will never be a patron of this establishment again, & will tell everyone I know to never eat there, which is the better part of the island of LB & beyond, as I’m a native. I would’ve given a rating of zero for this unbelievable experience alone, but it’s not possible, & the food quality is lesser than it was prior to their “Summer break” in June. I’m including a photo of the woman I dealt w/, & the bucket she threw my $ in when she attempted to straight up steal from me, as this is 💯 % TRUTH!!! I will contact the police tomorrow & the BBB. Being that I attended 1 of the best Universities in the country to study Culinary Arts & Foodservice & Hospitality, in addition to working in this career field over a quarter decade, I understand things happen, & am a ridiculously generous tipper. I NEVER do restaurant reviews, but this situation warranted it! I hope the owner fires this woman, even if she’s related to that person, which is something I never wish for anyone, but again, deserved!

Yummy Yummy Asian Bistro in Long Beach, New York, is a delightful fusion of Asian cuisines, offering a vibrant dining experience that caters to a variety of palates. The ambiance is lively and family-friendly, making it an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions. The sushi offerings are particularly noteworthy, with fresh, high-quality fish and expertly seasoned sushi rice. The attention to detail in presentation elevates the dining experience, appealing to both the eyes and the taste buds. Service is attentive and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant visit for all guests, including families with young children. For those seeking variety, the menu extends beyond sushi, featuring dishes like fried calamari, which has been praised as the best in Long Beach. While the restaurant excels in many areas, there is room for improvement in certain aspects to achieve a five-star rating. Nonetheless, Yummy Yummy Asian Bistro stands out as a commendable establishment that brings diverse Asian flavors to the heart of Long Beach.

Our first time here since the new owners refurbished the restaurant. Beautiful decor, friendly and attentive staff. My wife had an excellent salmon bento box and I had Tom Yum seafood soup and a chicken katsu bento box. At lunch you can get fried rice with the bento box for an extra dollar. My Tom Yum soup was just spicy enough without blowing your head off. The chicken katsu was crispy and delicious. Of special note, the roast pork fried rice was excellent. Almost 1960's style, with peas, carrots, scrambled egg and a great nostalgic flavor. The menu has Chinese, Japanese and Thai dishes. We are looking forward to trying more of their menu. Highly recommended.

After driving up and down looking for a sushi restaurant, we stumbled upon yummy yummy and this place is truly a gem. I know that there are many sushi places up and down the strip but if you have not tried yummy yummy, you have to give them a try because they offer more than sushi. The menu has hibachi & even some Thai dishes. Parking isn't so bad there's parking Infront of you are lucky in the parking area across the street be patient if it's during a busy time you will find something. It's also a great place to bring children, to watch the game and the drinks are on point. Service was good she was attentive and speedy getting our orders in fast to ensure fast service we appreciated it. My boyfriend and I had lychee martini's and they were really good filled to the brim. For appetizer we got the crab wontons which are made like my childhood so good I had to order another batch before my food even came I mean they were delicious. My boyfriend ordered the duck Bao buns he thought they were really good and of course we ordered the edamame. For our dishes we ended up getting about 5 different sushi rolls which we liked. We also got the fried ice cream since my man has never had it and he thought it was good my daughter of course enjoyed it. We think we got a...

If you’re seeking a place that combines reliable and consistent quality with an authentic dining experience, look no further than this establishment serves up both Chinese and Japanese cuisine. I eat here weekly for the lunch specials.

The menu is a delightful exploration of both Chinese and Japanese dishes, each beautifully crafted and bursting with authentic flavors.

The service was commendable, with a courteous staff that was attentive without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, offering recommendations that hit the mark perfectly.

The ambiance of the restaurant is clean and quaint. The decor strikes a balance between authentic cultural elements and modern comfort, creating a cozy yet vibrant dining space.

This establishment is a true testament to what authentic Chinese and Japanese cuisine should be. With its reliable, consistent quality, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere, it's easy to see why this restaurant has become a local favorite. Whether you're a fan of spicy Sichuan dishes, delicate sushi, or anything in between, you're guaranteed to...
