Uhm, this coffee shop is just what we needed in New Ro. It’s such a cute spot. Their roasts are really delightful. I got the Dulce de Leche iced latte, DECAF and still good! I had the ricotta toast with hot honey, thyme, salt, and pepper. The original comes with pistachios but I opted out of that. Then, I bought a cinnamon cruffin, a mix between a croissant and muffin. The ricotta toast was actually SOO good. The ricotta was smooth and not too much. The honey and thyme worked so well together. I would 100% get it again. The cruffin was also really good. It’s not overly sweet. It’s airy. Just so good.
The Wi_Fi was strong. They have tables but also a couch and comfy chairs to sit in. They sell their roasts and merch, too. Overall, really good atmosphere and place to work and have a light breakfast.
I will be back.
10/7/23 - I went back and got a new toast, the devils reef avocado toast. It was buy one get one free on UberEats and omg I ate both. The aioli on top and the flaky salt and pepper really was incredible and put it on top. I love their...
Read moreI have a love hate relationship with this cafe because my order is usually wrong or missing an item. But today I had to acknowledge that they finally did their job right. Thank you to whoever packed my door dash order this morning. Thank you for adding 2 jams in separate cups for the ricotta toast. Anytime I’ve ordered it it either came without jam or with whichever jam they choose. I finally got the cruffin that I always order and never end up receiving. I order every weekend through DoorDash. Their macha latte taste great. Definitely taste better than the franchise companies. Their devil’s reef toast is good and the ricotta toast is good too. My favorite is the cruffin when I do receive it. This has been my best packed order so far. Crazy that a door dash order packed correctly made me leave you guys a decent review. Didn’t get 5 stars due to the inconsistencies. But thank you for finally doing your...
Read moreLet's get this straight. I come in around 12pm today and order a drink and a croissant. I even tip like usual because I've been here since it first opened, I like this place.
The short white guy in the white shirt slams my croissant down on the counter while talking about a video game with another patron.
He then meekly says something about him needing to control his emotions. Immediately goes back to talking to the patron. Sad thing is, he turned toward me but couldn't even bear to look me in the eye.
This is a nice place. The coffee and food are decent and it has a great atmosphere. However, this extremely childish behavior is going to dampen this store's reputation.
Event without tipping, I would expect a basic level of professionalism to not slam a customer's food on the table.
That behavior is simply unacceptable. Get it together - you are...
