This location use to be Patsy's, but now became Kenny's. The restaurant itself has gone through an upgrade since its Patsy's days. The bathrooms have been moved closer to the entrance & thank you for installing urinals that use water. Instead of just 1 bar, now there's 2. The steps are gone to make it more handicapped & elderly accessible. The only steps here now is just to the smaller bar. The tables have been improved upon & so have the chairs. The chairs have more cushion for your butt now. The area that was once outside dining has been enclosed for the new bar & a lot more table dining has been added along with 4 skylights. Very, nice. You still have your view of the water with the sail boats. They also expanded their kitchen capacity. I did recognize half the staff that transitioned from Patsy's to Kenny's, so service remains good. The food has also remained good as well. Now the bad. After 9 months, the parking lot is still closed & under construction. You'll have to go for street parking, but Kenny's does offer valet parking on the weekends & late nights. This also means that you can't use the front entrance. You'll either have to walk around the back or cut through part of the kitchen area to enter the restaraunt. This is the only real downfall to this location, but they hope to have the parking lot issue solved soon.

We arrived at 8:45 PM, admittedly a bit self-conscious about the late hour, knowing the kitchen would be winding down. But from the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that immediately put us at ease. Susie and her team made us feel truly welcome, never rushed, and executed every detail with professionalism and grace. The Chef kitchen prepared our dinner as if we owned the place...we were the last table of the night felt like royalty! They delivered a knockout meal. The sirloin was perfectly cooked to temperature, topped with crispy onions, broccoli rabe sautéed in extra virgin olive oil, lots of garlic, creamy, real mashed potatoes awesome roasted fingerling potatoes. The seared salmon was another standout. A generous, moist, fresh with beautifully crisp skin, plated with hearty farro and vibrant vegetables. Another got to go back for dinner. The flatbread an awesome version of pizza...stretched oblong making it look rustic. A perfect harmony of melted mozzarella, flavorful sauce, and a nicely charred, chewy crust. We finished every last bite. Kenny’s on the Water respects the craft of cooking, they clearly take pride in hospitality. From start to finish, this was an exceptional dining experience. Highly recommended.

I visited Kenny’s on the water a couple weeks ago to celebrate my nephew’s birthday with a group of about 10 people. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive. Marco did an excellent job taking all of our orders and offering helpful recommendations. The food was outstanding — we especially enjoyed the pasta and the steak. We brought an ice cream cake for the birthday boy, and also ordered a few desserts from the menu, which were equally delightful. The manager, Susie, even stopped by our table to ensure everything was going well and that we were enjoying ourselves, which we truly appreciated. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends. The ambiance is great, and the staff is friendly and professional!

Our recent experience at Kenny’s on the Water was, unfortunately, the worst we’ve ever had dining out. My wife and I rarely get a date night away from our 3-year-old, so we were looking forward to a relaxing evening. Instead, we left feeling deeply uncomfortable and disappointed.

We arrived for our 7:30pm reservation but encountered chaos immediately—valet staff lost car keys and there was no clear direction on where to park or what to do. This confusion made us late, and we walked in around 7:50pm.

We politely asked to be seated in a quieter area, preferably closer to the water. The hostess told us it would be another 5–10 minutes, so we waited at the bar and let her know where we’d be. Instead of a simple acknowledgment, she seemed stressed and told my wife, “you can see your table from the bar,” and reminded us it was our choice not to take the first available table. This was unnecessary—my wife was just making sure we could be found.

When we raised our concerns, the manager excused the hostess’s behavior by saying she was “a young person,” as if that justified the attitude. We were finally seated around 8:00pm, but the mood was already soured.

The ambiance was off: at around 8:30pm, harsh construction lights lit up the outside, making the setting unpleasant. The menu is standard Italian fare—nothing unique. The chicken parm and pasta were just average.

At the end of our meal, my wife was still upset and asked to speak with the manager again. Instead, a different woman arrived, claimed to be the manager, and proceeded to belittle us. She referenced security cameras and implied our late arrival was our fault due to the valet issue, which felt accusatory and dismissive. She then accused me of making a sexist comment, which was both shocking and unfounded. When we tried to leave, she continued to argue and questioned my wife’s experience in customer service, insisting on having the last word even after we’d paid.

We left feeling not just disappointed, but genuinely uncomfortable and unwelcome. The staff’s attitude, lack of professionalism, and inability to handle a simple customer service issue ruined what should have been a special night. I would not recommend Kenny’s on the...

From Sheyla & Ronnie Santobello: on Friday night was a “Perfect Evening at Kenny’s on the Water”

Every time we visit Kenny’s on the Water in New Rochelle, we’re reminded why we keep coming back—it’s consistently exceptional in every way. From the moment we walked in, we felt warmly welcomed. Our waitress, Crystal, was absolutely wonderful—so kind, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She made us feel right at home and took care of us with genuine care and professionalism.

We were also greeted by Sue, the manager, who never misses a beat. She is the definition of grace under pressure—always present, always ensuring that every table is happy, and always bringing a personal touch to the experience. Her professionalism shines and truly elevates the atmosphere.

As for the food—simply outstanding. We started with the raw clams and shrimp cocktail, and they were incredibly fresh. The accompanying sauces were perfectly balanced and bursting with flavor.

For the main course, my husband had the filet mignon, cooked exactly to his preference—a perfect medium well. It was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, a real standout. I had the Scallops & Shrimp Al Limone, and it was divine—light yet rich, with just the right amount of lemony zest that paired beautifully with the seafood.

The drinks were top-notch—thoughtfully made and delicious—and we ended our meal with a slice of creamy cheesecake, espresso, and cappuccino that were the perfect finale to a memorable night.

I’ve already recommended Kenny’s to several friends, and I’ll continue to do so. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just want a top-quality meal with top-notch service, Kenny’s never disappoints. Looking forward to...

If you’re looking for a true gem by the water, Kenny’s on the Water is a must-visit, and I’m beyond excited that they’ve opened up a spot like this in New Rochelle. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a vibrant yet cozy atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for an unforgettable meal.

Let’s talk about the drinks—my Hugo Spritz was absolutely fantastic! It instantly took me back to Sicily with its perfect balance of fresh, zesty flavors and that slight herbal kick. I could sip on that all day and never get tired of it. A true masterpiece in a glass.

As for the food, the seafood was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. Every bite was full of flavor, and you could tell the ingredients were top quality. The burger. I know, it’s not a seafood dish, but trust me—it had the perfect jar (you know what I mean, right? The right amount of juiciness, crispy edges, and a rich, mouthwatering bite).

The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive but not overbearing, offering great recommendations and making sure we were taken care of without hovering. And can we talk about the view? Dining with a stunning water view is always a win, and Kenny’s truly takes advantage of that. It’s the perfect setting to enjoy great food and drinks.

I’m so excited that a place like this has opened up in New Rochelle. It’s exactly the kind of spot we’ve been waiting for, and I can already tell I’ll be back regularly. Kenny’s on the Water nails it on every level—delicious food, amazing cocktails, top-notch service, and a beautiful view. See you...
