I went three times to this restaurant. Twice for lunch, once for dinner. We did not reserve a table at any time. The food is truly excellent, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish we tried was delicious and clearly made with care. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the kitchen. The first time we went, I asked for an extra empty bowl so I could share a big hot soup between two kids. I was given 2 very small flat plates (for soup!) and I was told that bowls were “reserved for other clients”. I don’t know what we were exactly, if not clients ourselves. Anyway, I gave the benefit of the doubt to the place and went again, just for the quality of the food. The second time, we were received very nicely, and there was no issue at all (not the same waiter). The third time, we went for dinner, a party of 5, including 2 children 10 years old. We did not reserve a table but found one available and sat down. From the moment we arrived, the same young waiter who served us the first time, greeted us in a rather unwelcoming and brusque manner. Her attitude felt unnecessarily aggressive and not at all friendly, which set an uncomfortable tone for the evening. I asked her if there was an issue, if we had to reserve the table. She responded, in a very confusing way that we were fine and could seat, but she clearly was not happy with something. While bringing the menu, she accused my niece who was talking on the phone of taking pictures of her. That was not the case. She made us feel so bad with her attitude that we decided to leave the place. It’s a shame because the culinary experience deserves top marks. With better service (especially from that young waiter who wear a cap at work), this place could easily be...
Read moreThis was some of the best Thai food I've had in the US. The menu was varied and creative, while still offering all the basics of classic Thai food. Everything from curry to rice, noodles, and sautéed dishes are available with an array of protein options including crab and duck. We also loved the decor. The restaurant is small with only seven tables and beautifully decorated. My only recommendation is that the staff improve their time management and customer service skills. While everyone was very friendly, warm, and eager to please, the meal felt chaotic and stressful. First, when customers come in, the first thing the staff asks is if they have a reservation. Many people did not and the woman at the door just turned around without saying anything to check the reservation book, but it left people confused about whether they would be seated. Some people left, others took it upon themselves to be seated which then led to further confusion as most of the tables were reserved. Second, there is no logic to how the dishes come out. We ordered two appetizers and two mains that all came out at the same time. Meanwhile, the table of 3 next to us had two people receiving their dessert while one was still waiting on her main course. My dessert came out promptly, but we had to ask three times for my husband's dish. In a restaurant with seven tables, it shouldn't be this complicated. Again, I think the staff did their best, but perhaps they need someone with a bit more experience to guide them. I don't know that I would eat in house again, but I would definitely order take out because the food...
Read moreMy recent dining experience at this cozy Thai gem was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we were seated, we were warmly welcomed by our server, Jamie, whose service was truly top-tier — a solid 10/10. Attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, Jamie made us feel right at home.
We kicked things off with the jumbo shrimp spring rolls, which were perfectly crisp on the outside and packed with juicy, well-seasoned shrimp inside. Served with a tangy dipping sauce, they were the ideal appetizer — light, flavorful, and satisfying.
Next came the three-flavor whole fish, a showstopper both in presentation and taste. The fish was fried to a delicate crisp and smothered in a perfectly balanced sauce that hit sweet, sour, and spicy notes all at once. Each bite was tender, flaky, and packed with authentic Thai flavor.
To round out our meal, we shared the crab fried rice, which was equally impressive. Generously portioned and filled with real crab meat, the rice was fragrant, well-seasoned, and served piping hot. It complemented the rest of our dishes beautifully and could easily stand alone as a main.
From start to finish, this was a memorable meal. The vibrant flavors, the attention to detail, and Jamie’s outstanding service all made for a dining experience we can’t wait to repeat.
Highly recommend — especially if Jamie is...
