I became increasingly uncomfortable coming here. Specifically the drive thru because of a specific girl that was working 90% of the time I went. She's very monotone, always seems like she hates her job and I've never seen her smile. We all have bad days so if it was just once or twice, no big deal, I wouldn't be writing a review mentioning it. But it was Every. Single. Time. At the Panera drive thru on Sheridan, the girl started calling me by my first name. I'm not sure if she actually remembered or if it was just because she scanned my rewards card. Either way, it completely lifted my spirits and I realized what a drastic difference in feeling I got from that experience than from the ones I had here. It then led me to wonder why it has to be the people who seem to hate their job the most, that end up being the one on drive thru. And also, I'm not sure how it works but on more than one occasion, I ordered mac & cheese at the drive-thru, only for it to not be filled all the way to the top of the serving dish. Because I go to Panera often (this one & the one on Sheridan), I know that more often than not, it's filled all the way to the top. Since I don't work here, I obviously can't say for certain that there's not a legitimate reason for this. It just kind of irks me since it is so dang expensive (which is fine by the way because it's real food that's delicious so it's generally worth it). Overall, I'm grateful to have a Panera in Niagara Falls, I just wish it were more consistent & the drive thru person was someone who actually doesn't mind speaking to other human beings. Lastly, sometimes the baguettes/bread for sandwiches are so hard that I can't even eat them. Baguettes have been dark, dark brown...
Read moreI order from this location 4 to 5 times a week if not more and I'm so sick of it. If I had the option to change locations I would. I am addicted to one sandwich and soup combo with a smoothie and you would think it's impossible to screw it up, since I order it the same way every time, but alas almost every visit/delivery has a problem. This stuff is EXPENSIVE to mess up. Constantly charging me for extra cheese and not putting it on. Forgetting requested extra tomatoes and extra sauce. I get half filled bowls of soup, or if it is filled properly there will be 3 noodles and 1 piece of chicken in the bowl. I can't count how many times my baguette is forgotten. My smoothie. Like today. I used to call every single time they messed up my order but then I started being treated with an attitude as if it's my fault the food isn't made right and they forgot to make a smoothie. I'm still waiting on a $17 refund that never came. Today my smoothie and mountain dew were forgotten so I called and the addle-brained supervisor/manager, whatever she is, that barely knows where she is let alone what she's doing admitted they didn't make them and I got a refund (will it come? Who knows) but no offer of a smoothie on the house for THEIR mistake, nothing. You'd think since it happens so often but no. I'm about done wasting my hard earned money on this half ass run location. Time to check out...
Read moreConsistently unimpressed with this location. They regularly get my order wrong where I am unable to eat it and the app no longer allows you to contact customer care, so I politely brought it to the attention of staff last time I was there and she says “Oh, well they’re making it this time.” Also “making it this time” meant all the cheese of the sandwich was on the cardboard box and the outside of the box was smeared in mystery substance (guacamole I think not that it was an item in my food) I understand cross contamination at restaurants but coupled with the mediocre service and accuracy (which I then cannot eat said food) it’s a downer. Edit: Gave it another chance due to dining hall abruptly closing for the afternoon up on campus. Made sandwich with a piece of bread with a bubble that was over 1/3 of the sandwich. I understand with baking things like that happen but when you're charging $5 for 1/2 a grilled cheese sandwich I'm sure the company acknowledges there is a reason for certain food waste to uphold the overall standard of quality for the paying customer. Returned home where I have very limited ability to cook/prepare food and was pretty bummed as I'm a poor college student and that was my meal...
