This is not your average greek restaurant that is small, cramped and mostly looks like a take out place. This place has a nice appeal and vibe to it as you enter. Has both indoor and outdoor seating, the outdoor seating is located on the upper level with a decent view of Monroe Ave street. We went on a Saturday night around 7:30, the place had light crowd, the outdoor seating had more occupants than indoor so that’s where we decided to dine. The view is decent depending on the day you visit. Since it was Saturday night, there were lots of things going around on the street with bikers and muscle cars going around. Anyways, not deviating from the place, staff greeted us pleasingly and we took a comfy spot to sit. We had a Grilled Chicken Strips with Tahini for appetizer and a mixture of Freshly squeezed Orange and Carrot juice. The portion size was generous for 2. Chicken was well cooked, tender and juicy. The tahini sauce tasted well with the chicken and complimented it pretty well. The juices were exceptionally good and fresh. For the mains we had a chicken kebab pita wrap and a chicken gyro wrap. I think the chicken was same from the appetizer and only the sauce inside was different and the only difference between the 2 wraps was the chicken kebab wrap had Feta cheese in it giving it a slight sweet-sour taste and that made it taste better than the other wrap which was kind of bland and the only taste I enjoyed in it was when I dipped it in the tahini sauce left over from our appetizer. Quantity and quality was good, I only wish the chicken wrap had more punch in it. Overall it was a pleasant experience and one thing I truly loved here was the juice. Decently priced and freshly made, this place certainly gives the major juice places a run for their money.

Read moreMy group and I ordered lunch here after getting a recommendation. The serving sizes were huge, the prices are great, and our waitress was absolutely lovely. However when we began eating we noticed a strange taste to our food. I pulled apart my Peta to try to find what it was when I realized lettuce tasted like grass. It looked fresh and it was crisp but it completely tasted like grass. 2 out of the three of us couldn't keep eating it and we sent the food out saying it wasn't good, expecting to just pay for our meals after our last member finished and get food elsewhere. The manager came to our table very accusatory and confrontational saying everything was great and we just didn't like her restaurant. When we told her everything was wonderful but the lettuce she pointed at the one who kept her meal then me saying I ate half my meal which is false(I had a few bites at most then pulled it apart). We repeatedly told her it was just the lettuce and would still be paying for our meals but the manager was still very rude then insisted on comping the meal. While she did remove one of the meals we sent back from the bill it was such a bad experience in an otherwise lovely place that I'm giving two stars. It truly soured our days and was very disappointing. I hope this review doesn't deter any customers, as again everything else was absolutely amazing including the waitress besides dealing with the management after eating the lettuce. I also hope this helps improve customer interaction with the manager...
Read moreFirst , I’ve been patronizing this place since i was 15 years old , im now 35. As I’m visiting my home town , i make it a priority to come to Aladdin’s. Foods great! The customer service I received just now is unacceptable. As chef and as a business owner in food industry, the customers so most important to the business . Today , i asked us dine available? The nice young lady smile and said yes! I then asked , is the patio open? ( that’s my favorite place to Sit). She turned and asked her counterparts ( maybe her manager) “ is the patio open” it appear to pain her and she said” yes it’s open BUT keep in mind your server has to go up and down stairs and it’s hot outside “ i looked at her and the young lady , said thanks I’m all set and left , I’m not spending my hard earned money and time in a place with a reply like that. It’s not welcoming and not pleasant . I recommend limit seating sections when your occupancy is low! You restaurant offers a patio , guess what , you may have customers that want to sit there . Be ready , be happy about it , create happy Customers , they keep you with a job!...
