Wendy's — Restaurant in City of Rome

Wendy's is a favorite of mine. The quality of the food is higher than many other fast food options. The prices are also higher than most, which makes me regret treating myself due to the pricing alone. The service appears to be no better than the competition. It's fast food, so the employees are often in a hurry and don't offer anything in particular to set them apart. They take an order and process payment, using as few words as possible. It's nothing terrible, but it's also not something to rate highly either. No one seems to enjoy their job and it shows, yet their service is simple and effective.

Wendy's fresh burgers and the fries are excellent, yet seasonal options like the tasty Crispy Panko Fish leave me scratching my head as to why a fish sandwich is only available for a limited time. Wendy's doesn't offer fish throughout the year, which leaves something to be desired compared to their competition. Also, for the premium pricing, the large Frosty is the size of a medium soft drink, which seems a bit odd considering their large soft drinks are so much bigger...

Today for lunch I ordered a #13 large meal at 401 Erie Blvd location in Rome NY which is the asiago ranch sandwich. They ended up giving me the avocado sandwich which is the #12 meal. I can't eat avocado because it makes me sick. I checked the receipt and it did say the avocado sandwich. I understand people make mistakes and all but when I go up to fix it and explain what happened there is no need to be rude. I told one lady (not sure of her name) and she checked the log and it showed the avocado but still was going to fix it for me. The lady that checked us out (Heather) was listening the whole time so I looked at her and told her she accidentally rang us up for a 12 instead of the 13. She sarcastically replied "I'm sorry". As I was walking back to my seat I overheard her say to another customer referring to me "I have no patience for people like that today". That comment was uncalled for and should not be said to another customer. I was embarrassed and upset my entire time there. I will not be going back to this location while this...

Went to eat at this location with my gf everything was ok at first until I bit into my sandwich and realized it was the wrong item that we had asked for we asked for the Asiago chicken and got some chicken sandwhich with avocado on it.i understand mistakes happen so when we went to get it corrected we let them know politely that we had ordered a Asiago chicken and not a avocado one the lady that checked out our order who's name was heather was very rude and she was very snotty and said I'm sorry with a Lot of attitude then when we stepped back from the counter we heard heather say to her co-workers in front of other customers that she doesn't have the patience for People today and that she not the one and that she'll dish it right back .We will no longer be going to this location with that woman till employed there while the other staff were friendly and accommodating heathers negative and unwarranted attitude completely ruined any desire...
