China Express — Restaurant in City of Syracuse

My daughter got sweet and sour chicken, no side, egg roll, and drink. Owner rang her up for nearly $16. Egg roll tasted like cold garbage. Owner was very shady and said she was given more chicken. The portion was no bigger than any other portion they were serving. The owner/cash register worker was touching every piece of silverware he handed out to customers while he handled money/cards.

My other daughter got the orange chicken and fried rice. She said the orange chicken was below average for mall food and the rice had nothing but rice and zero flavor. Her meal was nearly 11 with just those two items and no drink.

I wasn’t interested in eating at this place before they ordered by the look of the items and definitely did not order after working through the line.

This was served during the prime lunch hours. I would not suggest anyone taking a chance on this place with so many...

Absolutely terrible! First of all the food was cold, tasted off, and there was hair inside the general Tao chicken I had. Not to mention that the old man at the cash register tried to pull a fast one and get more money out of me. I paid for 3 meals and a drink which came out to 14.99x3 plus the drink. Somehow this equated to $55 on the register which was clearly visible and already fishy but then the man asked me to give him his card so he could use the machine which is even more fishy. And to make matters even worse the receipt read $59! I had to argue with the man that tax should not be 25% percent of the order to which eventually he paid back while mumbling some Chinese slurs I assume. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!! I have a feeling he does this scam to most customers and I just had happened to catch him...

The chicken was fantastic. I got the sesame chicken it’s pretty sweet but I thought it was one of the best I had. The lo mein was good didn’t really care because the chicken was so good. But it was cooked perfectly wasn’t over cooked at all. Egg roll I didn’t really care for. didnt have enough crunch didn’t taste fresh. The customer service was pretty good. Didn’t exchange a lot of dialogue. The portion size for the chicken I thought was fairly small. Also the final total was 10.59 but I was charged 11. I thought that was kind of weird. Didn’t say anything b/c obv it was a small amount. lol. Pink drink from Panera not...
