Cajun Cafe — Restaurant in City of Syracuse

I've been eating here off and on for years when ever I am at mall. The food is good for what it is but the service has always been bad. Lately ,frankly, I'm tired of it. The staff and management are always rude and no it is not the language barrier. I speak three languages. I am around strangers, friends and family who are multi lingual, from a different country, different ethnic background etc. I am not just an English speaker from an homogenous community. But I do have darker skin. There is a general unprofessionalism with all customers but it increases the darker your skin is. It doesn't matter who you, where you are from, language, or what you think of others ethnic backgrounds; when you work in hospitality be hospitable and professional. I've never argued w them or raised my voice but I am leaving this review ( I wish I did not have to give them even one star) and I will not eat there anymore. Wow. How has Better Business Bureau not deal with the worst business I've been to? Ridiculous. Don't go here they'll charge you for something you didn't order. I had to go back there to ask for something ridiculous where I didn't have to and I persisted to ask for it in her language and she did it so I would go away.

How do I give negative stars? I ask just for a side of Jambalaya and the lady pretended to not know I said Jambalya. She then proceeded to put fried rice on a plate and just kept asking what other sides and meats. She pretended to not know English. Also, who I assume is the manager at the register just went ahead and charged for a whole meal. She didn't attempt to ask if I speak her language.

I always try and be fair and rarely give a 1 star but these people there are rude, all about the $. I got 3 meats and it came to $20, chine express across the way is about $15 for a comparable meal. I decided to pay it but voiced concern over how much food was on my plate (about half to 3 quarters what I would get at china express and she said " u get no more" Again I decided to pay it because I wanted to try something different.
