My Husband and I REALLY ENJOYED this Place! We were Invited to a YELP Elite Event…Our First! Outside there was a place for a couple of food trucks and some Lights to add a little aesthetic ambiance. We Enjoyed the Inside and how Beautiful and well Kept This Building is! The staff there were very Inviting and helpful! Thank you! My Husband and I Really enjoyed doing the Paint Splatter (hosted by Yelp) Upstairs. WE LOVED the self pour Alcohol wall. Our Party Invitation came with Food Samples and a Pre-Loaded Beer Card! (You can even add funds to it after you run out!) So Smart and Innovative! We thought it was so FUN to use and it tells you everything, down to the penny cost of Alcohol! A great Place to Try different Flavors! The temperature of the Joint was very well Maintained due to having a Bunch of People in there! And the Bathrooms are super Nice and Clean! We were so Honored to be there for the Yelp Event, and whilst there, we learned about so many community events happening in Syracuse that we may go to! Great Community, Great Food, Great People! We can’t wait for our Next Opportunity to keep reviewing amazing businesses like this one! —————————————————————————— My Recommendations: • The Minky Boodle is very Fruity and Tasty! •The Blueberry Coffee Crumb Cake had stolen my Attention first and was Great! Give it a Try! • Definitely Try the Food Trucks if they have Them there! That’s what they’re there for!! —————————————————————————— Pros: •Polite and Friendly Staff and People. •Make your Own Decisions with the Self Pour Beer Wall! •Great Community Integration! •Absolutely Clean and Beautiful: Aesthetically Pleasing •Bathrooms we’re Clean and Elegant! •Great Multiple Event Hosting! NO CONS!

We tried Harvey's on a Saturday afternoon after reading about it in the news. The building and atmosphere were inviting and comfortable. As other reviews have said, the "beer wall" was somewhat disappointing. No matter what was tried, almost every customer we saw had a glass filled with foam. Pouring beer is a skill, and the attendant was helpful, but we quickly transitioned to cans. Harvey's offered a GREAT selection of local craft beers in cans. Luckily, these cans saved our visit. The food trucks were awesome, and we spent several hours snacking and enjoying the vibe. Overall, worth a try, especially for sports games, but the "wall" was underwhelming.

Call me old fashioned... Do you see what I did there? Yes, I know this place is known for its beer. But I like bourbon and I ordered an old fashioned. And yes, I know you're only supposed to express the orange peel, but they asked if I wanted an orange slice, and I like citrus, so I said yes. The point is, it was a very good drink. It had just the right amount of bitters versus sweet and didn't overpower the liquor. The Woodford Reserve bourbon was the hero in this beverage, as it should be.

This place is okay. It is a big box type former warehouse with lots of space, chair and bench seating, TVs, a second floor balcony, and even a children's play area, which is on the second floor.

I am not a real fan of metered self pour taps, Normally, a good barman would spill a little foam to give you a proper pint. This place, you pay for the foam. So profit-wise, it is really efficient on the business side. There is no spill.

You want just a taste? You pay. You make a mistake? You pay. You spill. You pay. You get mostly foam? I was told that I should wait for this over pressured foamy beer to settle down.

The prices are quite high, some being 65 cents an ounce, At 35 cents, a pint of Utica Club will run you $5.40, if you could actually fill the glass without spilling the copious amounts of foam, which is impossible.

And, they want you to tip when you check out. I have been to other places like this, where you can just leave without checking out, and they will charge your card only the amount you accrued. Not sure if this place will add an service charge if you do, as some places do.

All in all, it is an okay place. On the service side, it is a machine oriented robotic novelty. If that is what you are looking for, you got it there. It may be more suitable for the video game crowd? I am old, so take this review with a grain of salt.

I will stick to proper bars with personable people where I can get a full pint of beer, where I can say can I have a taste of that and thank you, and leave a tip for the actual service.

Also, as technology based as this place is, you cannot pay with your phone or tap your card. I am not sure if you can use cash. They appear not to have a...

It appears as tho this is an amazing family friendly place, there's even a kids corner!!

BUT BEWARE IT IS NOT FAMILY OR KID FRIENDLY AT ALL

There are no outside snacks allowed even for the little ones! I'm talking goldfish and raisins!!

You're kids are not allowed to play, run around and they have to be quiet!!!

I have never been to a restaurant that wants to be kid friendly but you're not allowed to bring snacks, even tho there's NO KID FRIENDLY FOODS without completely deconstructing what they have on the menu!! (mind you we were all having drinks and planning to order food for the adults)

If you're thinking you walked into a jackpot of a place where you can drink watch football and let your kids play. You're sadly mistaken. Go to Tully's instead

For families wondering what their response was please look under pictures. Again proving why you are not a family friendly place. KIDS ARE LOUD AND THEY RUN AROUND!!! It's fine if you don't want to have kids at your establishment please just don't have a kids corner or games acting like you...
