OH MY DELI — Restaurant in City of Syracuse

What an amazing hidden gem in the heart of Syracuse, run by a father and son duo! Was looking for a solid place to grab a sub… specifically made with Boars Head brand deli meat… and the reviewers did NOT let me down with this one. It’s in a slightly tricky location to find, but TOTALLY worth it. I have been absolutely dreading coming here for work and Oh My Deli is making my time here a bit more tolerable. Adam is a true sandwich artist! He really really takes pride in what he does. His sandwiches are carefully crafted. Not the quickly thrown together ones that fall apart as soon as you take the first bite. I’m exceptionally critical of subs because I feel like each one you get, is just another sub… bland and lacking something. Not here. I’ll likely be eating here each night for the rest of my time here.

Can not forget to mention the seasoned fries! Seasoned with his own special seasoning. I don’t know what it is, but wow. I catch myself dipping my sub in the seasoning, after I finish the fries.

And don’t even get me started on the home made cheesecake… not that frozen crap you see literally everywhere else. They make these things with their own hands and it is nothing short of evident. The taste is rich, the texture is smooth. Safe to say the best cheesecake I have been able to get my hands on.

With all that said, lots of culture in this little place. Adam and his son are always happy to serve and chat you up while they do it! Great attitudes, great vibes and his prices are very very fair. I’d say probably on the cheaper end of the spectrum, compared to what I’m used to now days. I can’t wait to try the “chopped cheese” as it is allegedly incredible. Definitely with a visit. Or maybe ten. Don’t forget to grab yourself some fresh watermelon and strawberries, while you’re in there, to support his son’s fun little...

Drove from Worcester MA, (Around 4-5 hours away) to try this place as the last stop of my roadtrip.

This place is awesome. By far some of THE best subs I’ve ever had. Definitely made with love! The chopped cheese was the best I’ve ever had, fries were crispy and the seasoning is on point. The smoothie was also really good, and my girlfriend also enjoyed her sub a lot.

Just watch out for the little kid behind the counter, he can be a little heavy handed. He charged me for 3x chopped cheeses instead of the two subs and one chopped cheese I had. So a two dollar overcharge. Those three come with soda’s so when my girlfriend wanted a different one than from the can the kid said I could substitute one can with one bottle, the one she wanted, for free. I felt like this made up for the overcharge earlier but when I decided to also get a smoothie and piece of cheesecake, when I paid again, I was charged a random $2.75 charge after I got the receipt. I assumed this was the bottle of soda but he said I could substitute for free as a courtesy. So I went back and got my 3rd can of soda as well since I was charged the bottle anyways. Also, the “Cash adjustment” fee if you pay card is over 10% (usually 2.9-3%)

Overall, if you’re charged correctly, the subs are amazing and pretty good value considering they come with a soda (or fries and soda for the chopped cheese) for free. Non-kitchen items...

If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out. I stopped in today for the first time and WOW… this place lives up to the hype!

🍦 The ice cream? Creamy, rich, and packed with flavor. 🍟 The seasoned fries? Crispy, golden perfection with just the right kick. 🥪 And the Philly cheese sandwich? Melt-in-your-mouth good — juicy, cheesy, and full of flavor in every bite.

But what truly makes Oh My Deli special is the customer service. Friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they care about every customer’s experience — especially if it’s your first visit. I felt right at home.

Their menu is 🔥🔥🔥 — so many tempting options, I already can’t wait to go back and try more.
