WORST SUBWAY I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. This is the worst restaurant hands down in the entire chain I have experienced. The restaurant looks extremely dirty and unprofessional. It is littered with white papers with many nasty grams printed off saying "Hands off glass", "Phone use not permitted in line" and "Order pretzels in line". They were printed out and cut up and it looks awful. Extremely unprofessional. The entire store is littered with these. The two older women working were both rude. I watched the people in front of me ask the dark haired taller old lady (who I think may have been a manager) how much x sub was. The lady responded with "I dont know look at the board" and pointed behind her. Should have taken this as a warning to leave and spend money elsewhere. I ordered my usual (Bacon egg and cheese footlong on flatbread) and the lady who was just mopping (Old, Skinny, short and grayish/whitish/blondish hair) didn't wash her hands before making my sandwich and she had just finished mopping. Yes, she did wear gloves but it is a food safety standard to still wash hands. I order my sub fine and after it is done toasting the other lady asks me "Would you like any salt, pepper, dressing" and I go I'll do tomato, black olives and she cuts me off immediately and goes "absolutely not" in a degrading manner and I was very visibly irritated and she responded with "Veggies don't come with breakfast subs" yet again in a shocked and rather offended manner. ABSURD I have never heard of this before and I have been a regular at subway restaurants for my entire life. I checkout and I was disgusted. Kept the receipt and knew to write to corporate about my experience immediately.
A year before my experience above that I had the other day, I ordered a footlong bacon chicken ranch which by default comes with rotisserie chicken. The person making the sandwich (Who i believe was the dark haired larger woman who may be a manager) asked if i wanted rotisserie or grilled chicken. I was confused by this as usually rotisserie is the standard with this sub. I said rotisserie and she told me it would cost extra. Excuse me? The sub that comes with rotisserie chicken costs extra than it says on the menu board? I said that's fine even though I was annoyed. I checked my receipt afterwards and saw I was charged for double meat. What an awful way to run a store. The store was still pretty dingy at this time but it was nothing as bad as it is now. I do not recommend eating here. Vending machines are across the room and I suggest food from those before an eating experience...
Read moreRUDE UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGER. If I could give a -1 stars, I would. While waiting for my son's bus to arrive (2:40pm, Fri.), I decided to order a sandwich and a salad to go. Right after ordering the sandwich she jumped to the next customer without asking if I needed anything else. I was still standing where the food is ordered so I told her that I wasn't done ordering and that I also needed a salad. She practically rolled her eyes ,turned around and walk away without saying a word, then returned and gave a big breath and asked me "what salad you want". By then I have felt the bad vibe, energy or however people want to call it. I decided that I better don't order the salad, hey no need to eat food prepared in a bad manner. I told her to don't worry about it, that I didn't want it anymore. She raised her voice on me and asked me again, "what salad do you want", of course stressing every single syllable of each word. I told her again that I didn't want it anymore, she cut me off and again in a demanding high tone level voice, ask me again, like trying to force me to order something since she had already walked 3 steps to get the plate. I got upset and asked the other nice girl if there was a supervisor or manager on duty, she pointed at the person that was almost screaming at me...her response to me? "AND THERE YOU HAVE IT" That is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I have to be there weekly but even if I am hungry after traveling all the way from Watertown, NY, I won't buy there anymore. Too bad Subway doesn't care about the image it projects to their...
Read moreMy name is Melissa Agnes and I am a manager at mcdonalds. I went with my kids to the subway in the Syracuse train station. while we were waiting on my mom's train to come in. As we are standing in line we are the next customer. As I watched the employee making a foot long with turkey ham and roast beef. She realizes as she is putting the roast beef on that there is meat stuck to the underneath the other boat of roast beef. She put the boat in the trash and then pulled it out and put the meat stuck to the other boat in the boat that was in the trash. I looked at my kids and said we are going somewhere else. That is disgusting, and gross. I really thought about calling the health dept. But as I said earlier I am a manager at mcdonalds and I would love my customers give me feed back so I can fix the issues. Not sure what the employee's name is since No one has name tags on but she is a blonde lady in her late 40 to early 50s and stands roughly 5 ft...
