U Tea — Restaurant in City of Syracuse

I recently visited U Tea at the Destiny USA mall with my family who was in town from South America. We were excited to try out their teas and enjoy a pleasant time together. However, our experience was unfortunately marred by an incident with a female employee who had a large chest tattoo.

After purchasing 6 teas from the establishment, we decided to use one of the chairs from the store to sit at a table near the restaurant. To our surprise, the same employee approached us and berated us in front of everyone for using the chair. Her demeanor was quite unsettling and made us feel extremely uncomfortable.

As a paying customer who had just supported their business, I didn't expect to be treated in such a manner. It was embarrassing and disappointing, especially in front of my family who were visiting from out of town. We came to U Tea to enjoy a relaxing time, but this incident left a negative impression on all of us.

I believe that customers should be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the situation. It's important for businesses to foster a welcoming environment for all patrons. I hope that U Tea takes this feedback constructively and works to ensure that such incidents don't happen in the future.

I had a wicked hot flash and got incredibly thirsty while holiday shopping today at the mall. Lucky for me, I was right infront of U Tea. Now, I consider myself a tea connoisseur and drink A LOT of tea, all day, every day. I looked haggard and hot when I walked in I'm sure. Nevertheless, I was greeted with a warm smile and an enthusiastic welcome. I was desperate for something cold. A thousand questions later, I was in heaven with a delicious green tea drink with lime. I really have to compliment the manager who answered a million questions, made me a delicious drink, and made me feel relaxed and welcome. Her name was Shandrika and I really enjoyed chatting with her. I returned before I left to grab another tea (they were both DELICIOUS) and thank Shandrika again. I usually ALWAYS come here twice a month at Destiny. And usually there’s always the sweetest girls that work there.. This time me and mom went in and there was a girl with pink hair working and she had her nose pierced. She was wicked rude had an attitude on her when we approached the register to order our drinks. She was eating and seemed annoyed that we interrupted her meal. I went to order my usual strawberry boba. She was rude giving me an attitude and raising her voice at me the whole time I asked her a question regarding the ingredients I wanted in the drink. I also told her I was lactose intolerant.. She made my drink completely wrong AND used milk. She was wicked unprofessional. I’m disappointed because I love this place and I’m always talking so highly about it.
