Waitress was a real nut-case. Her voice is very loud and could be heard all over the diner. She took personal phone calls while making the customers wait for their food and to place their order. Then she would tell the cook and owner, tell him I am busy and do not want to talk to him. She is very disorganized, and not able to prioritize. She does not come back to see if you want anything else or if the food was alright. She talks non-stop to customers about personal problems and has a very bad attitude on life and events taking place in her life. She needs to go to Mental Health and vent her problems. She is not suited for a waitress. She makes the customers feel unwanted and unappreciated. Although she finally figured up the checks and gave them to some but not others, not in the order the customers came into the diner either, she made me wait 15 minutes and did not bring mine, so I had to go up to the cash register and wait another 10 minutes for her to present me with my check. She hollers across the counter to the tables and asks customers what they want. She is very irritating and not suited to be a waitress anywhere. The items on the special board are very high priced for what you are getting. Any restaurant that does not include a little vegetable with their special is not looking to serve the customers a well balanced diet and needs to pay attention to the daily adult requirements of the food triangle. The food is nothing to brag about and they will not get repeat customers this way, nor will they get any additional business from me. Moe's Diner would not even make a good trucker diner. My time is valuable, and I do not appreciate spending an hour for lunch waiting and waiting. The diner only had 1/3 the capacity at the busiest...
Read moreVery cozy place. I frequent Mo's for breakfast all hours of the day and night (yes, they do serve all kinds of food) . I love that it's open 24 hours, so on those nights I'm working late, and don't want to come home and cook at 1 am, I can stop in and have a good, home cooked meal for a great price! The staff is SUPER friendly, and really gets to know the regulars like they are family. The regulars are great, too. More than once I've had nice conversations with complete strangers over coffee and eggs. The food is always delicious and made exactly to order. I've even had a meal replaced for a friend simply because she had tried something new, and didn't care for it. You don't get that kind of service at a chain restaurant. I also love that they always ASK if I'd like a refill on my coffee, rather than just constantly fill my cup (though they'll do if you request it to stay full).
My only complaint is that they only take cash... no cards of any kind (not sure about checks). There is an ATM right inside the door, but it's $3-$3.50 fee to pull cash out. I, personally, always keep cash handy just in case, but for those who don't, this might be a concern. Still giving it 5* though because it's clearly posted when you walk in, so I won't hold it against such an amazing...
Read moreI Loved Mo's! It was a lot of really, really good food at very good prices! I recommend the freide hash I think it was called, I couldn't eat it all but man was it delicious! Potatoes, onions, bellpeppers, mushrooms, pepperoni, sausage, bacon, eggs, cheese and toast with a side of hash browns.. We split it And neither could eat it all.. Cindy sure cooked us an awesome meal! In the photo I already put more than half of the Freide (center) on the other plate of hash browns and my plate of hash browns is on this side ready to have some Freide added.. And we spent less than the cost of most other places and no where is open after 10 pm much less at 3 or 4 am that tastes This great.. This is my new favorite place to grub out!! I'd give this place ten stars if I could! They're open 24/7 and serve breakfast all day, they also have a diner called Freide's on court street that's open for breakfast and lunch.. Stop in for some really good home cooked food! It is cash only but they have an 🏧 for...
