I went into the Asian Legend restaurant on a Friday at 5:30pm with my 12 year old son. The place was empty except for two couples eating in the back. There was a sign that said happy hour from 5-7pm. I asked for the happy hour menu. The prices were discounted from the regular prices so I said my son and I would like to order from the happy hour menu. I was told that we would need to sit at the bar to be able to order from the happy hour menu, which was fine with us. Then I was told that my son couldn’t sit at the bar due to NY State Law (By the way, the bar was vacant with no patrons and no bartender). I said if we can’t sit at the bar, perhaps we could sit at that table which was located 5 feet from the bar. She said no. If we aren’t sitting at the bar, we can’t order from the happy hour menu. I asked for the manager, who came over and reiterated the same thing. So, I told them that if my son and I can’t eat from the happy hour menu, they will permanently lose us as customers. (I had eaten there with my family at least 3 times prior.). The manager didn’t care, so we walked out and found an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant just down the block, which we enjoyed very much. With that kind of customer service, I can see why the Asian Legend restaurant is...

I ordered sushi the three for $23. I got tuna roll spicy tuna roll. And I forgot the name, but it was the last option on the list something with blue crab, and caviar, which I didn’t get a chance to try because The tuna roll when I tried it was not fresh. So I tried the spicy tuna which had great flavor but was not fresh so I did not try the third. I can feel my stomach turning already and I’m still in the restaurant so the food was horrible and after 30 minutes of our plates being on the table, no one is eating And the server won’t even come over here to ask us. How is our food or is everything OK so I finally flag a waitress down even though it’s only three other set of customers in the restaurant I let her know that the sushi is not fresh at all then my friend Chime in and let her know how her corn on the cob is not cooked correctly. And this server gets an attitude face screwed up. Don’t even say nothing snatches up the plates and still don’t say anything. We’re sitting at the table and she still hasn’t said nothing or us a check. Do we want to go container or anything? I do not recommend this restaurant the food was cold. It was not fresh and the service...

ONE STAR IS TOO MANY!! Just left this place and would like to post the pictures of my son vomiting non stop!!! I’m shocked, mad and will definitely sue the restaurant if I need to take him to the hospital for food poisoning. We both ordered hibachi (combo salmon and shrimp, and only shrimp). It comes soaked in some ridiculous sauce, heavy taste! Never saw in my life hibachi in a heavy sauce before!! Had to change plates to be able to eat, trying to take some off. Place was empty, we were the only table, so now I imagine that food is not fresh!! Server drags her feet, making a loud noise through the room. First and last time! Really mad at myself for...

Overall great experience! Food was amazing and interior design was peculiar. The restaurant looked small from outside, but the restaurant was large and clean. If you want something special, highly recommend trying peking duck. Duck skins were very crispy and vegetables were fresh. One difference I noticed from other restaurants was it was served with buns rather than thin pancakes (thin).

While I had to go shopping for some items while in downtown White Plains, NY, I found myself hungry, and just happened to see the restaurant Asian Legend. Since there were so many people in line for the food, it made it seem enticing for me and curious to why so many people are lined up for food in there.

Despite of the bad reviews, we were at the neighborhood and decided to give it a try. It was decent. If you are looking for authentic sichuan food(which was indicated in their original chinese name and is long gone due to pandemic), find somewhere else. But the atmosphere and food are both decent.
