I came here for my birthday it was a great & very pleasant experience. The waiter Travis H was attentive, helpful, patient & very friendly, he made the experience for my fiancé & I very comforting & satisfying he gave us a amazing customer & dining service. I will definitely come here again, the food & the desserts was delicious & fresh. The quality of this restaurant service & the value, taste & presentation of the food is worth the price, you have to cook the food yourself so that makes it more enjoyable & has u craving for more. The fondue experience is great & very neat. It’s divided into three sessions the appetizer comes first which is the fondue cheese of your choice with the different type of bread & veggies for dipping, & the salads. Then it’s the entree of the meats & veggies that u cook yourself in broth or on the grill whichever cooking style u prefer. Lastly the desert with sweet pastry’s and fruit for dipping in the chocolate fondue of your liking. The portion seems small but it’s not it will leave you satisfied and full without that sickening full feeling that makes you not want to eat anymore.

I always tend to visit Melting Pot for special occasions and on a cold winter night, this is definitely the place to visit. Each course is very filling but leaves you wanting more. Pictured are the a la carte offerings of the alpine cheese fondue with pretzel bread and veggies followed by the pacific rim and land and sea offerings and finished with the ying and yang chocolate fondue. Everything was delicious. Our servers, John and Alexis were fantastic at making our dinner feel special. They offer roses and other special items prior to your reservation. What’s great about Melting Pot is they confirm your reservation and ask about your reason to dine with them. It’s clear that they know how to do great hospitality. Alexis and John were naturals at it. Always checking in on us and making sure we tried new things. Cooking your food is a huge part of this experience and just know it’s about a 2 hour visit across 3 courses and cooking time. They provide suggested cook times for all of their proteins which is nice for first timers. Pay a visit to Melting Pot the next time you want to have a great time at dinner!

Great service. Our server was a little tied up so the manager dropped by a couple times to start us off and check that we were okay. Unfortunately there is only one vegetarian entree, and it's mainly mushroom based. The fondues are great and remain consistent with other locations. The Lover's Lane is a nicely tucked corner, blocking other people from your view. It has a nice blinking starry ceiling. Bathrooms may seem a bit small for the place, especially when crowded. There are only 4 stalls, and the door has open slit blinds so it may feel a little uncomfortable. The place is expensive, with the four course ranging from ~$35-$45 per person and ~$7-$12 specialty drinks. The four course experience includes a cheese fondue shared for two (or a single portion if you're alone), your choice between a few salads, one entree from the menu or create your own from the options listed, and one chocolate fondue shared for two. Definitely a spot to visit again!

I visited the Melting Pot location in White Plains with four others (part of 5) for my 25th birthday. I and two others of the group have never been to any Melting Pot. We were all very excited for our reservation. We arrived early, were greeted and attended to immediately. Our server was Jeremiah. He handed us the regular menus and asked if we’ve ever been. I responded with, “no, we are here to celebrate my birthday.” He brought us a teddy bear and balloons in celebrating of it, which was nice and unexpected! He came back with water for the entire table and asked if we are ready to place our drink order in. We went ahead and did that after he explained how the menu works. He brought back the drinks maybe ten minutes later. We quickly realized it was the wrong drinks (we ordered the same thing). He came back to take our entrée order. I told him immediately that we got the wrong drinks. He responded with, “well you said you liked lemon and berry so I thought it was this.” I looked at the menu and said they both have that ingredient but my friend told you the name of the drink as written on the menu. He said, “well I just wanted to make sure you heard me.” It was such a confusing interaction. He came back, roughly 15 minutes later with the cheese and the correct drinks immediately after. As he was melting the cheese, I asked him, “how long have you been working here?” he said, “about 7 months.” Then I asked, “this is so cool What’s your favorite part of this job?” and he responded promptly with, “honestly…going home.” My friends and I, awkwardly sat there as he went on to say, “but I want to know why you came here for your 25th birthday? I would rather go somewhere else like they have a food fair [insert name of area].” We were all shocked but my friend saved the day and said, “well we live in the area and drive by here all the time so we decided to come!” Anyways, my point is, this completely ruined the experience very early on. I am disappointed in him, his responses, and the service! There were such long pauses between every part of our meal being served. It took us almost 3 hours, and a large portion of that was just waiting for the next part of the meal being delivered. I really had higher expectations, especially when the experience was so expensive ($350 for party of 5 doing the “full” 4-course experience). Management should never let 5 customers leave feeling this way. This just makes me doubt my decision in the first place and certainly provides no incentive to come back or...

This isn't the first time I've visited this establishment, but out of all the times I've went, I can say confidently now that The Melting Pot in White Plains is nothing short of consistent. Starting with the staff, everytime visit I've had, the staff exude professionalism, friendliness, and will help you with almost any issue or questions you might have. Even something like recommendations on combinations of sauces to mix together, they will have outstanding advice. The building itself has a gorgeous environment, I will say that maybe it's just a little too dark, but once you're seated with your loved ones, family, or friends, it instantly becomes an insignificant issue. It also gives off a pretty incredible illusion, you come off busy Mamaroneck Ave. into this cozy atmosphere, and you no longer hear the chaos of the city, instead you're greeted, by the faint trickling of the waterfall behind the front desk, the beautiful smells of different foods cooking, and of course the courteous front of house. Finally, the food. The food is downright amazing, I highly recommend the 4 course option for your visit as it just has the full experience for roughly $100 for two people. (Also would recommend the ceaser salad as the pine nuts are incredible.) When your food arrives, your server will set you up as well as explain the process, and as mentioned before, always more than happy to answer and questions or concerns. All the food is always fresh and tastes divine. There's only so much reading a review can do for you, but if you're considering trying this amazing establishment, I would urge you to give a shot as they more than deserve it.

10/10 place, I will go back...

I tried the Melting Pot for the first time last month and boy did it not disappoint!!! We had the most fun 3 hour dinner I’ve had in a long long time. Everything is super fresh with exciting flavors. I’m still dreaming about the battered shrimp and stuffed mushrooms. We started with the Spinach artichoke and Wisconsin cheddar which were both divine.

Highly recommend the European hot oil cooking style called Bourguignonne. This is absolutely the way to go if you like fresh batter and fry! The Mojo broth was also full of coastal flavor. There’s something for every dietary restriction and lots of great vegetarian and pescatarian options. The meats were also marinated perfectly. The service was also impeccable. These servers clearly know their stuff and have been there for a long time - hallmark of a great restaurant. Make sure you leave room for the fondue desserts or you’ll just have to come back again and again…

All the tables were intimate and thoughtfully arranged, enhancing the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant itself is tucked away in a charming basement oasis, offering a hidden escape that feels both relaxing and exclusive. It’s no wonder that after 3 hours we came out with our bellies full and cheeks hurting from laughing.

Great hidden gem for private parties or intimate gatherings or simply if you want to just grab some fondue and catch up. Definitely becoming a regular as long as I...
