Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse is an amazing upscale Brazilian chain based restaurant that’s known for offering guests an “all you can eat”exquisite meat selections along with access to an extensive salad bar.
In May of 2024, I brought and treated my wife and myself for dinner at Fogo de Chao, specifically the branch located in White Plains, New York, to celebrate our Happy Ten Year Relationship Anniversary!!! Both my wife and I absolutely enjoyed our dinner and found the service to be superb!!!
The Fogo de Chao at White Plains, New York is located in the historic Bank Of New York Building, and features an elegant dining room contained with elevated wine displays, and a beautifully designed marble table that holds the salad bar. When visiting the restaurant, you’ll definitely feel like you are dining in an impeccable house of luxury.
The staff at Fogo de Chao graciously welcomed us when we arrived, and quickly provided us with a comfortable table. Our server, Silva did a great job on highlighting the meat options that would be offered to our table and provided great recommendations. We’d like to thank Silva for her exceptional customer service and for making us feel right at home.
When dining at Foco de Chao, customers would use a paper pad to determine when they would like meat servings brought to their table. If the pad is turned one on side, servers would come to your table to offer meat. If the pad is turned on the other side, you would no longer be served. Before visiting the restaurant, it’s important to come with an empty stomach, because you’ll be offered and served mouth watering meals like there’s no tomorrow!!!
Both my wife and I had a multitude of meat selections ranging from lamb chops, pork chops, chicken, sirloin steak, barbecue ribs, and we found all of them to be well-cooked, perfectly seasoned and delightfully delicious!!!
To cap off the evening, Foco de Chao provided us with a complementary and wonderfully made dessert to celebrate our relationship anniversary!!! Both my wife and I absolutely loved our cake/ice cream dessert!!!
If you are looking to visit and dine at a luxurious and upscale restaurant, then look no further than Foco de Chao. You’ll have an unforgettable dining experience at this outstanding Brazilian...
Read moreMy overall experience at the restaurant was quite enjoyable, but there were a few hiccups that detracted from what could have been a flawless outing.
Upon arrival, I had been under the impression that there was a promotional offer of $54, which I assumed would be straightforward and inclusive. However, it turned out that this deal was available only ‘upon request,’ and to my surprise, it didn’t even include the main meat dishes as part of the package.
This crucial detail was nowhere to be found in the advertising or menu I’d seen prior to our visit—nothing hinted at these limitations. It wasn’t until we were seated and I brought it up with our server that this became clear.
To add to the confusion, our server seemed completely unaware of the promotion altogether, which made the situation feel even more disorganized. After a brief and slightly awkward exchange, a manager discreetly approached our table to clarify the specifics of this mysterious ‘request-based’ offer.
By then, it felt like we were piecing together a puzzle that shouldn’t have been so complicated. Since we were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday—and he’s a huge fan of their meat offerings—we decided to let it go and simply pay the full price rather than fuss over the miscommunication.
Despite these initial stumbles, I must say the service throughout the evening was impeccable. The staff was attentive, courteous, and went out of their way to ensure we felt taken care of, which softened the blow of the earlier confusion.
That said, even with such stellar service, the meal itself left something to be desired. The selection of meats, which we had been so excited about, didn’t quite live up to expectations. It wasn’t as varied or impressive as we’d hoped, and the seasoning fell a little flat—most dishes could have used a pinch of salt to bring out the flavors. While the evening wasn’t a total letdown, these hiccups in communication and quality kept it from being the standout experience we’d anticipated for such a special occasion, though the impeccable service certainly helped...

Service absolutely the worst I've ever experienced place was supposed to be an unforgettable experience well it wasfor all the wrong reasons
I've been here before and always same story gotta flag people down for food then they get nasty and cut you an extremely small piece of meat and disappear for 20 minutes
A friend of mine been after me for a while to take him there I kept saying place is terrible would rather go to pizza hut and they dont even allow people inside their restaurant anymore I reluctantly took him so he can experience it for himself fogo didn't disappoint servers walking right by you ignoring you than getting an attitude when u ask for food Was a nice couple sitting next to us and if not for us they would never get served I had to ask server to offer them some food, after their meal they paid and Should have tipped me instead of the staff
Please dont go here anymore as you will be very disappointed better off at the local food shelter or soup kitchen at least those people offer you food Servers come out with a full slab of meat go to 1 table cut 2 pieces and go right back in the kitchen with the food still on the sticks why not go to all the hungry people at the tables and serve the food out I mean that is the idea of this place or am I wrong? It honestly felt like I was on the titanic in steerage part of the ship where they just put you down there to die with all the 3rd class passengers while young rose stays on top deck looking to get drilled by Leo
Place Should just shut down it's clear these people don't know how to serve their customers But hey you can eat all the dried out foods on the salad bar they give u a card that has green on one side red on the other green means serve red means stop.... I guess my card was double sided red
Next time I go in there I'm gonna bring a neon sign that says please serve me maybe...
