The origin of Shawarma food dates back to the 1700s Ottoman Empire centered in Istanbul, Turkey. Then, the food was called “çevirme” or “doner kebab”, which literally means “rotating roast.”

All my grandparents came from Istanbul so I've been eating Shawarma’ since before I had teeth (AHH that slow roasted chicken was like Mama's milk!).

The key to Shawarma is the slow, low temperature rotisserie cooking that allows the fat and juices to baste within the meat's layers creating a uniquely tender and flavorful result.

A family enterprise from the ground up, featuring a completely new kitchen and take-out convenient establishment on a corner where family patriarch, Antone Daoud, who has for years sponsored a weekly free food truck at this location for all his neighbors.

The Shawarma Station's immaculate interior welcomes you from the door with aromas that will have you twice as hungry as you were to begin with. The fast service, a table of various toppings you can try, prices very reasonable, fast in-and-out, what more can you ask!

I used to grab a bite here back when it was still an actual auto body shop—it's heartwarming to see the incredible transformation. They've built a brand-new, state-of-the-art restaurant and kitchen from the ground up, and it's truly impressive.

There's little more to add except that the shawarma here is exceptional. The concept is unique and engaging, with a highly customizable menu that includes bowls, wraps, and a variety of other dishes. I opted for the shawarma on my first visit, and it was absolutely five-star quality—I'll update this review with photos soon.

The spot is impeccably clean, far exceeding what the surrounding neighborhood might suggest.

I highly recommend giving it a try! I grabbed mine to go and savored it by the river, but it was so delicious that I forgot to snap a photo of the sandwich...

5 star hands down..I was there today with my son and ordered 2 lamb kabobs and 2 bowls . They are super nice, food is DELICIOUS. Their sauces super food. The woman at the register with the nice short cut is super attentive and nice. I loved my experience here. It was my first time coming and definitely not my last. They even gave me a sample of the rice. They gained a customer. I will definitely keep coming . I LOVE THEIR FOOD. thank you for a positive experience. Very clean, fast, nice, overall 5 stars.
