Have given this place 2 chances and both times were disappointing. Might come back again to try their pizza, as it looked good, but was disappointed with our recent visit.
Server was extremely friendly, but was very forgetful about certain things we asked for, and took a long time to get any refills, sauces, etc. Wait time was 20 minutes, which was good for how incredibly packed the restaurant was due to it being during March Madness. Plenty of games were on tv. One dislike, which I won’t put towards my review, is to turn the music down. Could barely hear the people at my table while Shania Twain played on the speaker above us.
Food was very mediocre, as it was when I came here about 6 months ago. I got the fish sandwich with the “fire” fries, which are basically French fries with a Cajun spice on them. The spice on the fries was ok. Didn’t add much flavor, and certainly didn’t add any heat. Not sure why they refer to them as fire fries. The fish sandwich was extremely greasy and floppy. Was not crispy at all. Very disappointed with it. The hot wings flavor was not great. Very strong vinegar flavor and not much hot sauce flavor. We got the hot flavor, which is the second from the Hottest flavor, and they had no heat. It’s possible they accidentally mixed them up with mild, but if not they just simply aren’t hot. The Philly cheesesteak was pretty greasy. Wasn’t bad, but just isn’t my favorite. The chicken tenders were bad. They did not have a good flavor to them at all. My wife ate one, I tried some of one, and we left the rest.
Might come back to try the pizza. They have a pretty large menu and good prices and a good atmosphere, but have been extremely disappointed the last two times we have went. Doesn’t seem they are hurting for business though, they are always packed, so I’m hoping the...
Read moreDiscovered this eatery while searching for places to eat while visiting Clarksville Indiana for the weekend, and we’re very glad we gave it a try! My wife, her sister, and I took advantage of the wait list sign up to save us from having to wait at the restaurant, and the time estimate turned out to quite accurate. I wish more establishments would catch on to this idea, to not only save customers valuable time, but also this avoids overcrowding in the waiting area - a huge turnoff! For drinks we ordered the sangria, the Bloody Mary, and a triple crown margarita. The sangria was yummy, very fruity, yet not too sweet. The Bloody Mary could have been ordered as an appetizer, as it had lots of goodies on top, and the margarita had plenty of delicious tequila, not skimpy by any means! We ordered two appetizers, the fried pickles and the shotgun shrimp. The basket of fried pickles contained enough for the three of us, with two dipping sauces, and the shotgun shrimp really was crispy and tasty, served on a bed of crispy fried onions. For dinner we ordered the mushroom burger and split the Stromboli. The burger was perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, smothered with cheese and mushrooms. The Stromboli was served with marinara and ranch, and was filled with a generous amount of the meats and cheese, leaving my wife and me fully satisfied! Our waiter was always friendly and attentive, with a smile! Would highly recommend, and using the waitlist on the...
Read moreDespite its somewhat remote location, Bubba’s 33 doesn’t seem to have any problems bringing in customers. The restaurant, located at 4631 Medical Plaza Way in Clarksville, opened in August 2016. Though the name indicates that the restaurant might be a steakhouse with a country western theme, Bubba’s 33 is actually a sports-themed restaurant.
As soon as they walk into the door, customers are greeted by several large flat screen TVs playing sports games and music videos. One thing which I found particularly interesting is that the rock videos they run on the TVs coincide with the music which is being played from the speakers. There is also a lot of memorabilia on the wall.
Though Bubba’s is primarily known for its pizza, burgers, and beer, there are many great items on the menu, including a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and dinners. Since I am not a burger person, I ordered the 12 oz. grilled ribeye steak, which came with broccoli for both my sides. The meal did not disappoint, as I enjoyed every last bite of the delicious steak and broccoli.
The portions are generous, so if you didn’t bring your full appetite, be sure to grab a takeout box on the way out.
Whether you want to have a celebratory dinner with your teammates, or you want to take your loved ones out for a great meal, Bubba’s 33 is sure to guarantee a home...
