Good experience at this location. Store was clean and associates were courteous. However do your research on Sleep Number and their warranty and return policy before you go in. Sales folks are not transparent about it. Insinuated you had to buy a foam top to get any warranty at all, but the mechanism is still covered without buying their foam topper. There are much less expensive toppers off Amazon that work for this bed. The warranty is limited anyway, so by the time your foam topper wore out probably would have to pay most of the cost. The sales person did not go into detail about the warranty being limited, but only mentioned what a long warranty is, lasting for 15 or 20 years or however long. But the amount of coverage drops significantly after so many years. (If the mattress or components break 10 years later, expect to cover a lot of the cost yourself.) The bases are non-refundable, so after shipping you will be out a lot of money if you want to return the bed.
We really do like our mattress and it has been working with no issue. My partner and I have very different firmness preferences, so it has offered exactly what we wanted and have been very satisfied with it. 4 stars for lack of transparency in the store on the warranty and return policy. But it's a consumers job to do their research before they make a large purchase, so it is what it is. 7 months later, would I buy this mattress again? Yes, I really like it. But if I could do the process over again I would have bought the least expensive bed they had, not bought their proprietary foam cover and bought my own additional memory foam toppers and saved a...
Read moreI am so disappointed in the customer service. Not from the store but corporate. You get 100 night trial. But don't be suckered. Bc at the last minute as you finalize everything they tell you the base is not returnable. We knew within a few days this was the a fit for us started the return process (btw we are at a month now with dealing with the return). They send us products to try which were not solutions for our issues. You cannot tell me the cost of this base is $3400. I can buy this base at other mattress stores for under $1k (they even have massage capability). This is such a racket. The base is actually the part you could resell, the mattress you destroy. Another thing I noticed is this base/mattress is much smaller than my king mattress I was replacing. I was not able to see inside my bedrails prior to getting a sleep # and now I can see 2+in around inside my entire perimeter of the frame. I measured their frame and it is smaller than my previous mattress. The bed doesn't work properly IMO. My husband scooted to the middle to watch a show and when he went to sleep back on his side there was a valley on the inside the entire night. Whats the point of responsive air if it doesn't actually adjust. I'm so disappointed in this purchase and now I'm stuck with a base that is overpriced and going to have to work with their app/remote with anything else I buy. Its a scam for sure. Now they want us to wait another 2wks for them to do a pick up. Funny how it was delivered within a wk, but now it takes a couple for them...
Read moreHave had a terrible experience so far. The bed we received does not feel like the bed we tried in store st all, our mattress is just a glorified air mattress. We spent over an hour in store trying and asking questions about the mattress. So definitely was not just an impulse buy. The my sleep number setting is a joke, one night I lay down and it feels so firm but is at a 30, then the next night it feels like the mattress has almost completely deflated, however, they are both set to thr same number. There is definitely a feeling of separation as well, I constantly feel like either my wife or I are sinking towards one another depending on whose sleep number setting is higher. The worst part is that we were told that it is a 100% risk free trial, however, we are losing $400. There is a $200 delivery and set up fee, which is them just them plugging it in and airing it up then explains how to use it. Then to return it there is a $200 pick up fee. Overall I feel like we were miss lead. Would not...
