Who has ever sat in a drive thru for 45 min???!!! Well I did this past Friday about 12 midnight at taco bell in clarksville indiana!!! When I pulled up to the drive thru they said they didnt have any BEEF, weird but okay so I changed all of my ordered item's over to chicken and steak item's and proceed on through. I sat for almost 20 min til I got to the window, too tired after working a full shift at work, I just wanted my food and to get on home! I figured that late at night my options were limited anyways. So I get to the window and the girl appologized for my wait, took my money ($18.99) so it was a decent order, I thought good I'm almost done and can be on my way home!!...nope, I ended up sitting there for another 25 minutes at the window! The girl had already taken my money so I couldn't just pull off like the other 30 did behind me! She also started to let every other vehicle that pulled up to order, know that they were out of beef PLUS they were looking at a 45/50 min wait! Of course had I been told that the wait was that long I would have never stayed in that line to begin with!! So anyway, the girl had the window open the whole time and was sitting on her stool and not only kept conversating with me the whole time but also yelling at and talking to the other 3 employee's that were working with her. I had heard it all by this point!!...1 guy was new so he wasn't very good at doing anything, one guy wants to be fired so he just doesn't care and was purposely working slow, one girl named Ashley was outside in her car taking a nap and was late coming back in to work, and never actually came in since I had been sitting there and then the "manager" she claimed was newer and just ok at his job ( steve or steven ) is his name by the way. They all were talking about how that taco bell was soo old and their machines were atleast 10 yrs old so nothing worked properly like the grills under the cinn. twists and the register was too old and that they should start a petition to burn it down and build a new one then they said if any of the employees would do their jobs right and clean and take care of the equipment then it may be better. Once they said they had my order together they then realized they forgot to cook my order of nacho fries! Then they said they were out of nacho chz...but oh no then they did actually have the nacho chz so it was all good. The whole time I am sitting there I just could not believe everything that was happening and everything that I was hearing which I only shared half of what was even said! So finally I get my drinks and food and drive home, which I live about 2 min away, I get home and just when I didn't think it could possibly have gotten any worse I was wrong!! My food was all friggen wrong and messed up and cold and hard and the nacho chz they said they had, well they had enough alright bc they only put Less than half in each cup so that they could make 3 cups out of 1 order! The shells on my chalups were literally cold and rock hard!! Our drinks were so watered down that the ice was melted completely gone! She had made the the drinks when I placed the order then they sat there for 45 min while I waited! This had to have been the worst experience ever at a taco bell ever!!!! Prolly the worst experience at a fast food place ever at that! No one that was working that night should have even been in there! The food was horrible and the service was pathetic and the wait was the most ridiculous of all!!! I can't just not eat taco bell again bc it is one of my favorite places to eat as well as my kids and husband's but we definitely will have to start driving out of our way everytime we want to eat it bc we can't go back there!! Unless they get different worker's there is no way i would ever go back!! No BEEF????.....45min wait on 5 item's of food????? REALLY!!! WHAT EVEN TAKES 45 MIN. TO COOK AT...
Read moreThis has to be the worst Taco Bell I have ever been too! While I love the food itself this certain location has much to be desired. When it first opened it was pretty decent but over the years it has drastically went downhill in the handling of customer service Numerous times I have witnessed the restaurant actually close its doors in the middle of operating hours! Their excuses have ranged from; they ran out of ingredients to they were short staffed. While im sure plenty of restaurants have been understaffed they somehow make it work I believe a restaurant is not supposed to close its doors during operating hours unless its a case of dire emergency yet this particular restaurant does it numerous times and allows people to wait outside in the midst of hot weather Im going to share the main reason why I will never patronage this particular Taco Bell again. On our way home my mother and I decided to grab dinner and go home so we stopped. I waited in the car while my mother went inside. I waited for about 30 minutes while I was waiting the doors to the lobby were locked once again the reason this time they were understaffed. I watched four people wait outside after about ten minutes two had walked away in anger and the other two were finally let inside to exchange their orders A couple minutes pass and my mom finally comes out angry but she wasnt alone the manager of the store had come out with her and got all up in her face. She followed my mother to the car and she was yelling "leave the property" even after my mother said she would the manager proceeds to go to the back of our car gets the license plate and calls the police. We wait for the police and we explain what happened and how the manager even looked like she was going to put her hands on my mom to hit her! We were told that this was a warning and all of this was over lettuce I kid you not Ive been in many restaurants but I have never seen a manager act that way! If you ask me she was an intimidating bully and Does Not Deserve the title of manager or to work in a social envirnment with the behavior she displayed. Although the location of this Taco Bell is closer to my home I will be going to the New Albany, or Jeff location there is no reason for a store to be that way or how a manager...
Read moreThe food I've ordered from this location on several different occasions has just been sub-par however this particular issue hasn't been any fault of the workers. In the past several years quality of Taco Bell has really went downhill. Usually the staff is super friendly and very helpful. It's one of the main reasons why I love going to this Taco Bell. However during my last visit I didn't get this same jovial friendly treatment per as usual. When I pulled up in the drive-through there appeared to be something wrong with the computer. I sat there a couple minutes and no one acknowledged I was there or asked me for my order or anything. So I thought well something must be broke and I proceeded to pull around to the window. When I got to the window the lady who was working, who happened to be the manager, the drive-thru window was furious with me for pulling around before speaking to her. I tried to explain to her that I thought the place where you order at the beginning of the drive-thru may have been broke because I've been sitting there several minutes and I hadn't been acknowledged and the computer had something funny on it. She did not care my reasoning she said I should have sat there and waited until someone took my order and I should have never pulled around beforehand. I apologized, she impatiently took my order. My food was finished relatively quick and when was time to hand out to me the worker shoved it forcefully in my car and slammed her window shut.. No bye, have a nice day, __ you, nothing..
