Be careful when eating here. Got stabbed in the mouth. Ordered a Swiss Mushroom Burger with added lettuce, tomato, and onion at the drive thru. About half way through eating the burger, I took a bite into what felt like a hard piece of the burger. Bit down a couple more times, then got stabbed in the gum and thought it was a bone somehow. I pulled it out and it was actually a little piece of wire, about 2 inches long. I was pretty shocked at what could have happened if I accidentally swallowed this, so I called Culver’s to explain to them what just happened so they can take the proper precautions to not have this happen to anyone else. The manager asked me to come in and drop off the wire. Even though I was already away from the restaurant, I turned around to drop it off. I walked in and explained I spoke with the manager and handed them the wire rolled in a napkin. The shift leader explained that the manager was busy, but I told him I didn’t come here for me, I turned back around and sat in traffic, just to drop the wire off like I was asked to, simply thinking of the people who eat here all the time. He took the wire, walked away, came back and asked for my number, then said he was going to give me coupons. I told him I didn’t want coupons. I’m not going to eat here again since something like this happened. I could’ve ended up in the hospital. He insisted to give me the coupons so I gave in and said okay. He walked away and I waited long enough before just walking out. I’m not sure how that piece of wire got in the burger, but please be careful if you continue to eat here. It could have been a very bad day, and I think about the thousands of different people who eat here, kids too, where they could have swallowed that wire, then what? Side note: the manager never even came to speak to me when I came back to the restaurant. The shift leader acted like he didn’t have time to speak to me at all. I think they should have paid better attention and been more appreciative towards a customer, who not only could have been seriously hurt by consuming a Culver’s burger, but who went out of their way to come back and do something that was asked of them. I could have easily turned this into a...
Read moreShoutout to Culver’s for showing us what truly terrible management looks like.
My stepdaughter, who has never called out once, requested to have July 4th off in advance- as she is a college student and had family in from out of town. When she couldn’t find someone to cover her shift that she was put down for despite the request-, she was fired without warning.
Let me repeat that:
No call. No conversation. No explanation. She only found out when she noticed she wasn’t on the schedule and called herself—only to be hung up on. When she called back, the manager straight-up lied, saying she didn’t show up—which is not true.
Y’all manage kids. My girl is someone who showed up, worked hard, and got paid $11/hr, while younger, less experienced workers were getting $15/hr for the same job. Others have called out multiple times and kept their jobs—so why was she the exception? And if the schedule is so fragile- that a single miss of work is a firing offense- that’s a management issue, not a single employee problem.
To make it worse- she has been tolerating ridiculous management issues the entire time:
The manager lost her new hire paperwork and had to pay her in cash. The manager apparently spends more time hiding in the office playing phone games than actually managing anything.
Culver’s, get it together.
This kind of selective enforcement, dishonesty, and unprofessional behavior is why good employees leave and reputations sink. If you’re looking for a workplace where management is petty, disorganized, and downright toxic—apparently this is the...
Read moreToday's dining experience was Culvers. I enjoyed a potato bacon soup and grilled chicken sandwich combo with sweet tea. My first impression of this establishment is that it is CLEAN. Hitting a burger joint in Clarksville can be iffy when ot comes to this, so I always check the bathroom first. It was immaculate. Next its the tea. As southerners we often try to give each other the diabetes. Cilvers did not do this. It was a good sweet tea. There was none of the rancid flavour of an unwashed urn and the tea itself was properly brewed. I followed the first few swigs of my brew with the soup. I have to insert some trigger warnings here. I loved the soup, however if you do not eat carrots or cilantro do not get it. The cilantro is a very light flavour on the pallet but it was present. Both thr carrots and potatoes in the soup were properly cooked to tender. I had an appropriate level of baconness. There is no cheesy flavour to this soup. I felt with the spice blend this was an appropriate choice. Now finally the chicken burger. As a previous victim of the compressed big box chicken pattyand dry flavoirless or aqwardly sweet bun, my expectations have been loweed. I should never have done this. The chicken burger exceeds all expectations in this price range. The burger was a true slab of chicken breast meat. There was zero gristle. The tomatoes and pickes were true slices and not the near film of other's establishments. The lettuce upon the buttery toasted tastey bun was shredded. It was not brown and was crispy not limp. I firmly recomend this place to all...
