I've eaten Cook Out only once before--on West End in Nashburg--and while I dug it, My Ol' Lady did not particularly. What I've realized on this second go is that there is some to like and other to not. Why You Go Here: 'Cause you have some lint, two chicken bones, and $2.53 in your pocket. Place is inexpensive, but not in a good way. You can eat for cheap, but you don't get much. Makes sense. Why You're the Only Soul Inside While the Line at Drive-Thru is over to the Pet Feed: That incessant music. I didn't notice it at the other Cook Out. It's not conducive to eating. Do not eat inside by yourself or you'll regret it. Those aside, what appears a long and complicated menu is fairly simple to order from. The cashier will no doubt assist you. Ordering is a la carte, which is a plus in this age of over-complicated packaging schemes to lighten your shekels. The shakes are great, but bring some time, a blow torch, or an ice cream scoop, because that's what you just got. No idea what's up with that questionable water spigot by the register. Maybe ablutions like in the Old World. Parking is a bit tight because of that busy drive-thru I mentioned. Dining room is cool, dark, and well-kept. Except for that sink that should be by the toilet.

Employees are nice but oh my god. I ordered a burger tray. The burger patty only filled up 40% of the bun and was thinner than a #2 pencil. Not to mention I bit into it just to find they put THREE LAYERS OF ONION. I MAY AS WELL HAVE ORDERED A WHOLE ONION ON A LUKEWARM BUN. It's just such a rare occurrence to eat something that genuinely ruins your day. This ruined mine. $10 isn't a lot and I still want it back. I'd say Cookout has turned into the drive thru version of Waffle House, but that's an insult to Waffle House. At least when you go to Waffle House you get what you actually ordered. I took a bite of this onion sandwich and expected someone to tap on my window with a camera to tell me I was getting pranked. Abhorrent. I would've rather gotten my $10 pickpocketed. 3 hours and 2 waters later and I still taste onion. Don't know if this is a corporate or local problem and I don't care. Eating here when you're sober and the suns out is like eating out of a Walmart toilet.

The old saying, "You get what you pay for" definitely rings true here. The "Big" double burger was tiny and burnt. You really could only taste the bun and burnt crisps which encompassed both very small patties. The quesadilla was also lacking any protein, barely any cheese or meat. The fries were mediocre at best. However the onion rings were actually pretty tasty, my wife ordered those and I believe it was the best item we both tried. She did say her chicken sandwich wasn't any good, but since I didn't try it myself I can't give a valid review of that item. I was going to give a 2 star rating, but I went with 3 since the onion rings were solid and it was so cheap. I literally had a small double burger, a dinky quesadilla, so/so fries, and a large drink for right over 8 bucks total. Which really isn't bad for today's soaring prices. Like I said before, you definitely get what you pay for at the Cookout. Hope this review helps😁

This establishment is operated by degenerates. After being a patron of this location multiple times over the past year and finding the popular result to be rude employees and poor service, an event about a week ago sealed the deal for me and I don’t believe I will be returning.

Last Friday night me and my fiancé were driving by the establishment running errands, when out of nowhere we noticed a car had appeared to just catch fire in the parking lot. Suddenly, most if not all of the kitchen staff began flooding out of the exit and into the parking lot, understandably to flee any potential danger this fire would be to their safety. However, instead of taking a hard right out of the lot and following the sidewalk down in front of the neighboring strip of shops (as anyone with common sense would do) a number of employees thought it would be better to stand and run in front of cars on the street closest to the fire, who were just as eager to retreat to a safe distance, ourselves included. In an attempt to signal the employees to get out from in front of my vehicle and likewise out of the street, I provide them with a single honk of my horn. Now up until this point I can’t completely blame the employees for responding poorly to an event they weren’t expecting and I can understand why their judgment wouldn’t be the best given the situation. However, one employee in particular didn’t respond too kindly to my gesture and began shouting profanities and insults at both me and my fiancé as all we wanted to do was be clear of the area before emergency vehicles arrived. Even though we weren’t patrons that particular night, We have been numerous times in the past and the unprofessionalism demonstrated that night was a good example of what one should come to expect when visiting this establishment.

In conclusion, what we experienced that night was completely unacceptable by any standard of what one should expect from someone representing a business. Additionally, if any manager is interested or even cares about which employee was verbally abusing the public and acting like a literal child, unfortunately I can’t offer that detailed of a description. Your best bet is to look at that night’s schedule and pick out the scrawniest, most goofy-lookin’ little patty-flipper, with the biggest mouth and I’ll bet you...

I went to CookOut Restaurant on Wilma Rudolph Blvd, Clarksville TN and placed my orders via the drive-thru window. The young lady that took my orders (per receipt Samantha) was in such a rush that I had to repeat my first order twice and the second order three times and then had to verify it once we got to the window as she didn't repeat it back to me at the drive-thru order screen. Once we arrived at the window there were two young ladies at the window both of seemed very young and impatient and when I asked her to repeat the order she tried to say it so fast that she became tongue tied and had to repeat it yet again. I was given our one drink and three shakes with one straw at which time I asked for a receipt and she advised they don't give receipts for cash transactions only credit card transactions and that a receipt of our order would be on the food. I received our food and pulled away from the window and immediately called the store location to receive the name of the manager so that I could file a complaint in writing to ensure that the situation is handled and after 11 calls to the number listed on google (as there was not one on the receipt) a gentleman answered the phone and I inquired as to who the manager was on duty that evening and he advised which one there are several, I said it doesn't matter who ever is currently over the location he said rudely at this point which one as there are several on this shift, I said fine who is the store manager at which time he advised he was the general manager and when I inquired his name he said it so fast it was difficult to understand and as with previous service from the young ladies at this location I felt as though it was pointless to ask him to repeat it as he was very rude during the conversation. I told him thank you I just needed that information to inquire as to who to file a corporate complaint with and he said Yep and hung up the phone. It is absolutely absurd to expect customers to continue to return to this location if this is the type of service that is to be expected and rendered by a young staff being led by a...

Shakes are great and there's a huge selection of flavors, just don't order chocolate because they're so skimpy on it that the chocolate shakes aren't even brown, more like an almost undetectably light tan. As a chocoholic, this is entirely offensive. The peach shakes are solid though.

Fries are always on point: hot, crisp, fresh and they're not skimpy on them. They do fries better and more consistently than any other fast food joint I've ever been to, hands down. If you love fries, this is THE place. The onion rings are great but they're very skimpy with them; you'll be lucky to get 4 full size rings.

Burgers are hit or miss, and when they miss, they REALLY miss: soggy buns, wilted lettuce, mushy tomato, and drowned in condiments. It's a shame too, because they're one of the only burger chains where you can get a burger "all the way" and it actually is. For what it's worth, when you get a burger made fresh with just a little bit of attention to detail, they're pretty good as fast food burgers go.

The employees are always kind and friendly. It seems like they like their job which means they're probably treated well by management and corporate and paid competitively. As far as staff goes, the customer experience at Jesus Burger is as good as you'll find anywhere at any price point and well above any of the major fast food chains.

The cheesy religious propaganda on the cups is lame. We're not into fairy tales, so my family has called the place "Jesus Burger" with an eye roll and a laugh for years. If you have to tell people you're Christian...🙄

Food: -2 ⭐ because generally sloppy burgers and insultingly bad chocolate shakes. These should both be home runs at a burger joint that specializes in milkshakes. Other than that, they're great, but these are COLOSSAL misses for their business model.

Atmosphere: What atmosphere??? They're drive thru only. Google reviews sets them up for failure here by using the...
