Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Clarksville

I've been to many burger joints, ice cream parlors, restaurants of all kinds and fast food, but this place topped any fast food joint I've ever been to. From the moment I walked in I felt welcome and the aura of the place was very relaxing. It was well kept and clean, the employees were nice and respectful (every single one of them), and despite being packed full of customers they didn't falter in superior service and performance. Now, onto the food .... the food was beyond my expectations. Their freshly grilled steak burgers crushed the competitors, their fries with the seasoning and savory dipping sauces were to die for, the chili is warm and made with quality ingredients, the custards were sweet and smooth, their breading buttery and delicious, the cheese curds were better than anywhere outside of Wisconsin, and to top it all off their portion sizes were HUGE. Finally, they offer amilitary discount, but the best part is they actually respect servicemen and forwardly ask if you are eligible for the discount. Being in a military town many companies do away with this discount, and receiving this support was refreshing. I will be continuing to dine at this restaurant, and I applaud the company and it's staff. Stellar doesn't begin to describe...

Went here on 4-14-21 about 11a. Staff was efficient and friendly. My order was delivered in a timely manner and it was served hot and tasted very good.

However, the store was freezing cold! It is not comfortable or appetizing to have to sit down to eat with your coat on to stay warm while you have to cover your food with napkins to keep it from cooling quickly.

An excellent dining experience was diminished greatly by eating with it being so cold in a sit down restaurant. I actually think it would have been warmer and more comfortable to have left the store and eaten my food in my truck.

Update!

Upon receipt of my concern, I was promptly contacted by management and they said they would correct the situation, offered apologies and sent me several complimentary vouchers for meals. Their response was nearly immediate and very responsive. This manner is resolved!

2nd Update! Earlier I had complained despite the excellent food and good service, the temperature in the store was so cold as to be distracting and to cool my food prematurely.

I went in today on 3-28-21 and I was pleasantly surprised the heat had been turned on and the store was quite comfortable and warm! This enhanced the experience...

I've been to this particular location about a dozen times but I will not be going back. The young lady working the drive through was not paying attention to her job instead she was more concerned with cutting up with her coworkers. Well, at the drive-thru menu I had to get the girl's attention multiple times to because she said welcome but never spoke afterwards unless prompted. I was never sure if she was listening. When I got to the window I noticed there was a pink narwhal plushie stuck to the window hanging there, a little unprofessional but that didn't really bother me. What did bother me is the girl, heavy set dark skin young lady, came to the window and told me the total again. I told her okay and reach down for my wallet so I could pay her. She rolled her eyes shut the window and then started joking around with the kids inside. I waited there for a few moments wanting to pay but she seems to have other things in mind so I left the restaurant. I tried to call the restaurant to inform management so they didn't upset anyone else but they pull the phone off the hook and hang up if you try that. I don't like making a scene or leaving bad reviews but this behavior...
