I normally donāt take the time for reviews but the disappointment of what this place has become is sad. My family and myself really enjoyed the old location on Madison from the atmosphere to the food. The food Now was meh and reminded me a little of the old place. The quality isnāt what it used to be but I would say itās better than the majority of places in Clarksville. I would have been willing to give this place a second chance with food quality but the pricing is a rip off for the proportions. They have become the Spirit airlines of Chinese restaurants. Everything is considered extra even a side of rice... Iām not sure how they can justify charging a small side of bland fried rice for $2. But they do. Mustard on white rice would be more appealing than HKW. The pricing is close to the same as the old place but with a lot smaller proportions. We had bought a couple of extras to share and I had left hungry. The total came out to be around $15 a piece per person. For $15 I shouldnāt be going home making something else to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place, I think was prevously located on Madison Street in Clarksville. I could be wrong. Me and my wife ate there on Sunday afternoon. The place was clean and the employees friendly. They have a regular menu and a "Hot Bar" menu. I got the hot bar teriyaki chicken with a chicken egg roll and white rice. My wife got broccoli beef, fried rice and a chicken egg roll. I wasn't thrilled with my teriyaki but the rice and egg roll were fine. I also tried some of my wife's broccoli beef and it tasted fine. I'll go back there but probably won't ever order the teriyaki chicken again. Specifically, it didn't taste fresh to me. That might be because we ordered from the "Hot Bar." I assume that to mean it's like a buffet but behind the counter. So the food from the hot bar may have been sitting a while. At least the teriyaki tasted like that. Give it a try. You might like...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas very dissatisfied after ordering from here. My husband and I both ordered the HK Box meal. I ordered plain lo mein and plain fried rice-- but did not realize it is LITERALLY plain. No vegetables. No sauce. I understand it did not come with meat, but really? "Plain" lo mein at any Chinese restaurant is at least veggies and noodles. Mine was dry noodles that tasted like plain spaghetti. Same with the rice. Just plain rice, no veggies or sauce. I even requested if they could add shrimp but was told no. I asked if they could do a LA carte side of shrimp, was told no. Maybe I misunderstood what I ordered? But even for plain lo mein, it was literally just spaghetti that I could have made myself.
My husband ordered general tso's chicken and it tasted like nothing but salty chicken. The broccoli was dry and old. Extremely disappointed overall and don't think I'd order...
