To be clear to everyone reading this - I am only giving this a one-star review to get the attention of management or those who are in a position to make changes to the parking lot.
The food and service is just fine. I am always in awe and impressed at whatever HR practices exist here to find such good and friendly employees. Go there and you will have the same excellent food and service you expect from Chick-Fil-A.
But...this store had a long closure due to renovations - I think this was wasted time because these changes have been horrendous. The traffic flow is awful. I have a couple of photos here which might help, but it was busy so I may not have gotten the best shots.
First - Everyone should appreciate that the drive-thru lane splits when you are IN FRONT OF the restaurant (and a little past), not before. Since people know that there are going to be two drive-through lanes, they try to create the second lane early which then blocks people from being able to exit the parking lot. There is minimal room between the lane and parking spaces and will block the ability to pass (or back out from your parking spot) which is why there is only one lane. But, if you sit there and try to comply with the proper flow, people are impatient and honk rudely. Though the rudeness of others is not a Chick-fil-A problem, there needs to be some signage that discusses how the flow SHOULD happen (or a person there to direct until people get it). Also, the lane split where it is also allows an easier sharp left you have to make.
Second - on that same line of thought, the entrance area has these weird lines that seem to be parking spaces. Are they? If they are not, it is directly in the flow of traffic to get into the drive-through lane and is very confusing as to where I am supposed to make my left. If they become parking or pick-up spots, then there will be a massive jam of people entering the drive-thru and getting to parking if eat-in. There is JUST enough room to have two cars go by, so if one lane is to get to the drive through and one to eat-in, this probably needs to be labeled somewhere as to the flow (this DID exist before the modifications so I do not know why it was removed). My suggestion, drawn lines that label "Drive Thru" and "Eat in."
Third - Where are the crosswalks? To get into the restaurant to eat-in, you need to cross two lanes of traffic (in either the entrance area or by the drive-thru lines). But the store has neglected to put in crosswalks to alert drivers and patrons where to go in. I saw two families (with young kids) get encroached by customers in their cares as they were trying to leave the store. Getting a crosswalk is essential and I am really surprised that nobody is seeing this as a problem. There is one for the handicapped parking, but none for the other two entrances. I tried to get a picture showing the lack of crosswalk, so I am hoping it shows well enough.
Finally - I put in a mobile order and it was accepted by the app. When I got there, they told me that this feature was turned off. I seem to be a victim of a glitch, but I am more curious, why would you turn off this feature at all? It is a huge time saver for patrons. Where did curbside delivery go? This glitch (v. or it just not being turned on) caused a delay for me to have to re-order and it seemed that nobody could figure it out until I got to the pickup area so I could then re-order. Fortunately, my order was simple enough, but I still blocked traffic for a little bit while they completed my order. Can we please re-instate the feature at this location again?
I am really hoping they can make adjustments to the traffic flow- they are a major disaster from an establishment where nothing was wrong to one where I think they are making...
Read moreSo as you can see it has been a while since I been to chick fil a. Another bad experience today. We all sitting in drive thru placing orders and its backed up as usual. However, the white young ladies did not want to take my order and kept passing my car(4×). Rolled down my window and said excuse me the last time and the young lady turned her head and kept walking. I saw the lady behind in the mirror motion as if to ask did they get my order and the young lady waved her and shook her head, not sure her reply. So I drove up and politely ask the black young lady could she take my order although she was on the other side. Chick-fil-A has fallen so far. To be even more detailed, I was the last car in line for 10mins and when the other 7 or so cars came up they took all those orders. Its so sad I have to now drive 30 mins out if I/family want Chick-fil-A, instead of 10mins. They all standing in the shade looking strainght at me talking and laughing. A Christian company?? As far as the food....I have no idea what the little bits were in the cup of frozen lemonade?. The drink wasn't even properly mixed and whatever was on the top causing all the bubbles.... it looked as if someone spit in the cup or added water. I was hoping for a better experience since they rebuilt the business. To all the happy commercials and experience the total opposite, hmmmmm??. May 3rd, 2023, 5:49pm
Came by (Friday)after having mouth surgery. Ordered cup of ice cream, bag of ice, and mac'n'cheese. The red head who served us in drive thru was rude! I looked at my order and asked if it could be filled properly. She states that my order is standard and if I need more then feel free to get back in line and order more. Then tells the other person we have our order and should keep moving through the line. I'm still trying to figure out what was funny?! My cup was not full and looked as if someone bit it and the mac was shameful, like it was leftover from an unfinished meal. Wish I knew how to put up the pictures. I do have pictures to show! Businesses seem to still not get it, having all young people run it maybe ideal for the future, but not when service suffers. This may have been an acceptable attitude when Covid was around, but not now! Businesses and their workers keep forgetting it's customers who bring in the money! Price is not an issue if I want something, but the price is too high for rude service. What happened to the Christian side of...
Read moreEdit: I ended up speaking with a manager, who was able to amend the situation and was very apologetic and kind. She also took note of my specific complaints and said she would look into the situation. I very much appreciate that, and also want to note that they prepared my order correctly.
Original (2stars):I've been to this Chick Fil-A several times, and usually I have few (if any) complaints. However, the last 3 times I have been there, they've gotten my order wrong. Today, I went through the drive-thru line because I was in a hurry and it usually doesn't take too long. The line was extremely long, and was taking much longer than it typically does. I ordered through the mobile app while I was waiting in line. When I got to the window, there was no one there. Not to say that there were no employees in the restaurant, because employees were there, there was just no one at the window and I couldn't get any employees' attention. I waited at the drive-through window for a solid 3-5 minutes before any other employee even noticed that I was there and waiting. He kindly asked if I had been served, and when I replied that I had not, he apologized profusely because the employee who was supposed to be at the window had just walked away from their post and not informed Anyone. when I got home, I opened up my bag to find out that they had gotten my order incorrect yet again. I always appreciate the kindness shown to me by most employees, but there were a couple employees who were messing around and completely oblivious that their window worker had just left their post. I'm disappointed because I have visited this location several times and they have continually gotten my...
