Kennedy, the owner, was our server. She was incredibly helpful, polite, and subdued. We had flights of three teas and their special of the day. It was a very unique, thoughtful, and personalized experience. The positive vibes, creativity, and personal touches overcame any flaw the Mad Herbalist had. Let's begin with the highlights: Love the interior decor of the place (hippie, bohemian, and rustic). The grand stone fireplace blew me away. The bathrooms looked like something in a beautiful log cabin in a magazine. Picturesque location. Woodsy forest like area. Food and tea presentation were absolute perfection. You could tell there was a lot of depth, thought, and art involved in the decor and displays. Quiet yet friendly customer service Uniqueness. It was my first time that I went to a place serving flights of teas. You get 3 kinds of tea for $6.50. It is rare to see a tea lounge, and I have only been to only one teahouse in my life. I felt I could take my time engaging in a good conversation without feeling hurried to leave. The Morocco tagine and avocado dip were delicious. I loved two of the teas: The Sweet Cinders and Java Mama. They provided me oatmeal and almond milk for my tea. I liked they were generous in giving me all their options for my tea to sweeten it and make it creamy.
The negatives:
-Finding the place was difficult The location was beautiful, yet it felt precarious the way the building was on the edge, but it worked. Limited parking. I was told that we could park in the adjoining parking lot for apartments. No soap available in one of the bathrooms. I had to go to another to wash my hands. The carrots and pita bread for the dip were colorful yet they were so so. I don't eat dessert, so I did not eat my tart. I prefer cream or whole milk in my tea and stevia. They were unavailable. The Mischief Matcha was so so. I make better matcha green tea at my home.
Despite my criticisms, I am giving this place a perfect score, since it is a beautiful rarity and my favorite place in...

Avid tea lover of casual consumer, you will fall in love with the atmosphere and tea offerings here!
The flight of 3 teas was only $6.50 and all three were delicious and unique flavor experiences! My favorite was the beecan pie, although it was hard to choose!
To order your tea, fill out the provided tag with the size, whether you want your tea hot, cold, or sparkling, and which kind(s) of tea you want! Very easy :)
The lunch options were all so good sounding it was hard to choose- so luckily they have a “tier” option where you can pick 3 items from the menu :) I tried the caprese sandwich, falafel, and chefs soup of the day which was a pumpkin and cilantro soup- very uniquely delicious!
The falafel was very herbal, I thought it was good but my friend did not like it when she tried mine lol.
The grilled acórese sandwich served with homemade chips was also a favorite!
I tried my friends Spinach and artichoke dip and her gingerbread cheesecake dip which were both rich and creamy in their own different ways! I would recommend either!
Everything on the menu was thoughtful paired for a scrumptious experience.
I would love to come back here! The atmosphere, friendly service, and tasty food options make this a must-do in...
Read moreIf I could give this more stars I would. We have passed this restaurant for a few years with the intent to give it a try. We finally found some time to go for lunch, and what an experience it was! First, service is amazing and easily the best service we have had in Clarksville. We started with flights of their teas. At your table, they have samples of their teas in test tubes so that you can give them a smell before choosing. The 3 that we each chose were all awesome, but I think we liked the Jasmine Honeysuckle the best. We then ordered 3 dishes for lunch - the hummus, an order of Burrata Toast, and the Bacon Apple Grilled Cheese. The dishes are brought to the table on a 3-tiered display which we thought was pretty brilliant. Everything was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. We ended the meal with a mint chocolate pie which went well with the large hot tea we ordered. We are kicking ourselves for waiting so long to try this wonderful restaurant. It’s a very unique dining experience for Clarksville. We highly recommend giving it a try, and we will...
