LASATERS Coffee & Tea — Restaurant in Clarksville

Once from me, I had given a 5 star review, but my goodness, the past few years, it just keeps going downhill. Today was my last straw with Lasaters!

Over the past few years, the time to receive a coffee has gotten longer and longer. Over the past month, I’ve visited the drive-thru six times, and on four of those occasions, it was closed, and the whole place was closed couldnt even go in.

Additionally, last weekend, I attempted to use a gift card but was informed I couldn’t due to systems issues. Mind you, there were only 2 cars in front of me that day that were already at the window, and it took over 30 minutes to get 2 coffees, 1 of which was leaking and made a complete mess. Then today, I tried to purchase four - $25 gift cards as gifts but was told that your system wouldn’t allow it either and that this has been an ongoing issue. Still couldn't use my current gift card that I received to purchase my own coffee.

As well as you had 1 girl working today, while the other was just drinking coffee and talking when the place had customers.

Finally, it is a 50/50 chance on if a regular vanilla latte will be correct, taste right, weak/strong, or if you will even get the correct drink.

We as customers have truly tried to support local, but there comes a point when you are just done trying. We gave it our best effort, though.

I want my money back for my gift card that I received so that I can find a coffee shop that remains consistently open, gets the drinks right, has workers that are working, and that take gifts cards that were purchased at their own...

Jan '23 -- WiFi got so much better! This is now a great place to work remotely.

Food/Drink quality for price: great!

Atmosphere: great! It's a good place to run into friends and grab a treat.

Noise level: just fine, music covers up conversations well and coffee bar machines aren't too loud

Lighting: lots of natural light in front and cozy in the booths

Staff: very friendly and welcoming

Cleanliness: Mostly very clean!

Bathroom (men's): Usually dirty, posted signs last year were saying you don't have enough staff shows that the business pays more attention to customer service at drive-thru than in-store which makes since from economic standpoint if drive-thru makes more, but that was disappointing.

Seating: 4 booths that can fit 4 - 6, a few 2-seater tables, a sofa, 2 sofa chairs and a few more

Outlets: Yes, at most tables

WiFi: Maybe the fastes WiFi in middle TN! Download (262 Mbps) Upload (264 Mbps)

Car parking: tons because this road focuses on developing the land for cheap

Bike parking: use poles outside, no biking infrastructure in this area but there are people riding on the shoulders

So, today my wife and I tried the lasater's on highway 76 in clarksville for the first time. We go to the riverside drive & Wilma Rudolph locations every Saturday & Monday. Wilma is the best! We always get a blended caramel no whip and extra caramel drizzle and a blended mocha no whip and an extra shot. Today @ the 76 location we ordered the usual through drive thru. Waited 5 minutes, the associate attempted to hand the blended mocha to me, the cup was covered in iced mocha etc! I held the cup outside of vehicle and asked the associate for some napkins. My interior is tan leather. I cleaned up the cup and then she attempted to hand me my other drink. It had whip on it and zero caramel drizzle! I informed the barrista that wasn't my drink because the whip and zero drizzle. She apologized and went to, "get me the correct drink." She comes back with another one with no whip and it had chocolate drizzle. I informed her that is mocha not caramel. The colors are way different. She insisted it was caramel, I told her it wasn't and to please give me a refund. She obliged and offered me the incorrect drink for free. I told her no thank and the refund will suffice. My wife's blended mocha was dang near completely frozen and it didn't have an extra shot. It was disgusting and she might have drank 1/4 if it. We will not go to that...
