I had the no. 16 Beef Pho. Pho came out hot and steamy as well as fast. Noodle portion was just right for me. The broth had a good beefy flavor but the beefy flavor overpowered any other spices. The little meatballs were weak in flavor and sliced thin. The beef was also in small bits so unless you are an expert chopstick user you may find the bit hard to grab. I was not given any other utensils up front save the pho spoon. I also ordered the pork egg rolls. As you can see in the pics they were quite small and in my opinion overpriced for the size (3.99). The egg rolls were very Chinese in flavor and ingredients. As seen in the pic i was given Chinese duck sauce in packets. Whaaaat?? I did expect at least sweet chili sauce. I had asked for Vietnamese grilled meat rolls but they are surprisingly not available. I don't think she even knew what i was asking for. The place was clean and plenty of room. I gave 3 stars because in my opinion there are alternative places in town to go with better quality and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Lack of the traditional flavors in the pho and authenticity were my deciding factors also. This places competitors offer a...
Read moreHave been to this place before and thought it was good. That may have been before the owner change. But my cousin and I were craving for some pho so we thought we would give it another try. After I received my pho bowl and after a couple of bites I found a black bug in my bowl. I didn’t want to cause a scene so I scooped it up with my spoon and took it to the cashier to show her. At this point I had lost my appetite and stopped eating. A few moments later after we finish, the cashier brought our check to us and advised me that I had to pay for the bowl of pho. We got furious and she went back to ask the owner and the owner told her to not charge us and tried to make a funny out of the issue. Cashier also gave us the wrong check and we had paid another customers check, came back and got us as we were leaving and advised us that we had to pay the the difference. Never going back. Flavors of the food are bland. Will instead be making my own...
Read moreI have to be honest about my experience here. I was in the mood for some fried fish and since it's part of their advertisement, this was perfect! Unfortunately, their fried fish were either nuggets or tenders. I was a bit disappointed. I still ordered the fried flounder. The SM order which came with fries. I also order fried wonton and some beef lomein. The flounder was delicious. The fried beef wonton was decent. (The meat inside was a bit too sweet but smelled good.) I've eaten a few from different restaurants where the meat actually smelled spoiled!) Why did I rate it a 3? Well the beef lomein was a bit overdone and was SALTY! Not good. I...
