Generally, not a bad place. A bit on the pricier side for fast food. Service is slow. We usually love their shakes. Last night we ordered the new custard concrete shakes. My husband found a sizable amount of white powder in the bottom of his. I decided I had better check mine, as well. I had it too. The shakes were not blended who at all. My hubby said to let it go, which I usually do, but this was completely unacceptable. I wanted my money back and to be sure they wake up and pay attention so they don't do this to other guests. I drove all the way back. An employee was outside. As I walked up holding my shakes, she asked me if there was a problem with them. I said, "Yes. They are full of white powder". She said okay, took my tray and walked inside. I assumed she was letting management know. I waited...and waited...and waited until I was ready to syst banging on the glass. Finally, I was able to wave someone down. She comes out and asks if I am still waiting on my shakes. I tell her I do not want more, I wanted a refund. Only then do I sees a manager. She comes outside and Al's what the problem is. I tell her. She asks me do I have a receipt. The employee had taken it. She walks away. When she returns, she informs me that she had refunded my two shakes. Quite frankly, this has severely soured my opinion of this location. I got my money back for two out of five shakes. Yes, only two were bad, but I had to drive back, wait ten plus minutes and my husband said his mouth was burning from this powder. Nor good enough. I emailed the GM who said we can talk today and she would recreate our order of we give them another chance. Also the white powder was custard powder to thicken the shakes. Good to know. Still burned my husband's mouth. I think I'm over them! What did I give my children?! That's what you get with fast...
Read moreToday was a nice day to take my Niece out for lunch. We looked through some Coupons at the local fast food places around Clarksville and decided to go to Sonic at Dover Crossing in Clarksville. I have been here several times. A couple of times though, I've had problems ordering through their App as this is where a lot of specials are advertised.
I tried for 20 minutes or better to get my order through. It kept kicking the order back stating..." Unable to processed order.' I finally walked in to see if someone could offer up some assistance. What a total shock I was facing. The place was absolutely filthy. I believe the way they acted towards me and their quick responses, they really wanted me back out side. When I attempted to explain my situation with the problem ordering through their App they did not want to hear it. I was told... " Sorry not our problem!!" When I pushed for a better answer, they were very quick to say," nothing we can do, it's not our problem, you have to leave!"
Has any one experienced this sort of trouble at this Sonic on Dover Crossing? I would strongly suggest to any customers seeking to dine here, you are taking your chances. This place should be turned in to the Beaureu of Health. As for the management their, your responsible for the actions and presentation of your employees. In this category, I'll give you an (F). Absolutely horrible useless employees!! If I was your district manager, you would be out the door. You are a detriment to this establishment.
Customers be aware!!

Read moreThis restaurant was located fairly close to my destination so it was convenient to visit. Ordering was challenging because the machine wasn't working properly. Then once I finally was able to order and our food came out in a reasonable amount of time, one item was missing from the order. That one item delivered to our car. Management, I presume, made it seem like it was my problem in the ordering process when it clearly stated on my receipt what I ordered and I told them the item that was missing. So I wasn't sure about what the confusion actually was and why it took so long to make a coney dog with some chili and cheese on it. Eventually it came out. My son said it was delicious.
Overall, the visit was not terrible, however, it sounded like there was someone new in the kitchen that may have accounted for the minor mishap. Thankfully we didn't have anywhere we needed to go after that so we didn't mind...
