I was greatly disappointed by this restaurant today. They used to be pretty good. I ordered the chimichangas supremas and my husband had the grilled stuffed burrito with grilled chicken and a cheese quesadilla. My chimichangas were skimpy and the meat was burnt on the ends. I'm talking crispy and black, not juicy at all. The shrimp chimichanga was the only one that was good, but it only had four shrimps in it. My husband's plates both looked very plain, nothing attractive about the presentation at all. The plates, his burrito, and the quesadilla all were the same color and unappealing. His burrito was filled mostly with rice and had very little chicken. He said it wasn't good at all. He did enjoy the quesadilla, but it definitely wasn't worth $4.99. For both dinners, two sodas, and the quesadilla, we paid $48. If the food was good, we wouldn't have thought twice about the price. The service was decent though.

A Mexican restaurant that messes up one of the most common dishes, carnitas. They had no taste, as in no seasonings, very dry like jack link jerky, with no moisture. As a white guy I cook better carnitas than a Mexican restaurant they should be ashamed, and yes the amount of meat you see was what I was given except for a some in the half eaten taco. 15$… rip off

I wish I had a better review. The food wasn't great. It was okay, probably a 6.5 out of 10. (Burrito, Taco combo) My Taco had a stale shell but they rectified it right away and it was tasty but my burrito had a red like enchilada sauce instead of the typical red sauce. Bean and rice were fairly good. It was a bit more than most Mexican restaurants.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Rancho Grande in Clarksville, TN, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I stepped inside, the lively atmosphere and warm hospitality made me feel right at home.

The restaurant's vibrant decor, adorned with colorful sombreros and traditional Mexican artwork, set the stage for a truly authentic dining experience. The aroma of sizzling fajitas and the sound of laughter filled the air, creating an inviting ambiance that instantly transported me to Mexico.

The menu at El Rancho Grande offers a wide variety of mouth-watering dishes, and deciding what to order was a delightful challenge. As a lover of Mexican cuisine, I opted for their famous carne asada tacos. The perfectly seasoned and grilled beef combined with fresh, handmade corn tortillas was a match made in heaven. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the addition of the tangy salsa and creamy guacamole elevated the taste to new heights. Paired with a refreshing margarita, it was a true fiesta for my taste buds!

The service at El Rancho Grande was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to accommodate my dietary preferences and provided helpful recommendations based on my preferences. The prompt service ensured that my food arrived hot and fresh, adding to the overall dining experience.

One aspect that stood out to me was the generous portion sizes. El Rancho Grande certainly knows how to satisfy hungry appetites! The dishes were not only delicious but also hearty and filling, making it worth every penny.

The only reason I'm giving El Rancho Grande four stars instead of five is because the noise level can get quite high during peak hours, which may not be ideal for those seeking a quieter dining experience. However, if you don't mind the lively atmosphere and prefer a bustling environment, then El Rancho Grande is the place to be!

Overall, my visit to El Rancho Grande was a delightful culinary journey filled with authentic flavors, warm hospitality, and a vibrant ambiance. Whether you're a Mexican cuisine enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend paying a visit to El Rancho Grande in...

In the realm of Mexican cuisine, El Rancho Grande emerged as a respectable establishment. Like any culinary venture, it showcased a varied performance, where certain dishes achieved culinary excellence while others yearned for a touch of finesse.

Amidst this culinary tapestry, the chicken tamales emerged as the true stars of the show. Though, if I dare to critique, the chicken within exhibited a slight hint of dryness, mildly dampening the overall experience. However, let us not dwell on such minor blemishes, for the tacos, my esteemed compatriots, were an exquisite manifestation of culinary delight, faithfully adhering to the expectations set by this beloved Mexican staple.

Alas, dear readers, I must express my lamentation for the Chile Rellano, for it failed to captivate my discerning palate. The absence of a glorious crust and a filling that did not align with my lofty expectations left me yearning for a more enticing encounter.

Nonetheless, salvation awaited in the form of the burrito—a triumphant display of culinary prowess. Its harmonious blend of flavors cascaded upon my taste buds, resulting in a gastronomic revelation that soothed the soul. The refried beans, with their impeccable taste and velvety consistency, proved to be the epitome of culinary excellence.

The obligatory pairing of chips and salsa beckoned my appetite, yet I found myself longing for a more spirited salsa, one that would set my palate ablaze. Although the kind-hearted staff promptly brought forth additional offerings, the flavors seemed to dissipate as we ventured into spicier territories, leaving me yearning for that elusive fiery ecstasy.

In conclusion, El Rancho Grande succeeded in providing a decent Mexican dining experience, with its triumphant tamales, commendable tacos, and delightful burritos. However, attention to detail in certain dishes, such as the Chile Rellano, could elevate the overall culinary voyage to new heights. Let us not forget the charm of their refried beans and the quest for that perfect salsa that would ignite our taste buds with...

I'm still on the fence about this place. I ordered from here twice in the last 30days. 1st order was large at least 6 full meals to go. My daughter wanted tacos got 2 orders one of carne asada, n carnitas, my son a Burrito carne asada, I got the molcajete, an order of mini chimichanga, guacamole, can't recall the last thing. Well my son loved his Burrito and the white queso that topped it was delicious. My molcajete was amazing the beef was a bit tough but it was fine. Had amazing flavor. The chimis were alright. But the reason I drove out here to this place was because someone said their tacos were 🔥, but we didn't get that same experience. Our meat was completely dry. So dry you couldn't really taste any flavors. Was very disappointed in the tacos and chimi. So fast forward maybe 2 weeks or so. We wanted tacos. Another place we like was closed so we said let's give them another try. We ordered 3 orders of taco. Carne asada, carnitas, and shrimp. Let's just say they did redeem themselves because they were actually pretty good. The gentleman working the bar area was fantastic I had a lot of food to carry myself and he actually helped me out and helped carry it to my vehicle which I appreciate so much. So thank you Sir. Overall we'd probably comeback to this place. It was good the people were friendly and helpful. I'm normally pretty good about taking photos but I don't think I did of Any time I've been here. Well just another reason to go back...
