Taste City Buffet — Restaurant in Clarksville

What a HORRIBLE Experience for both of Us. My Wife and I went to this Buffet for the first time on Mother's Day(5/8/22). $14.99 per person plus they charge Your for Beverages(including Chinese Hot Tea)($2.25). No "DIM SUM". No "STEAMED DUMPLINGS". No "CHINESE HOT MUSTARD" on the Condiment Bar. Wontons for the Wonton Soup were in a separate METAL Steamer. And They were RAW. LO MEIN NOODLES were Definitely Recycled Over and Over again. No "SPRING ROLLS". FOOD was BLAND. "GARLIC SHRIMP" BLAND. "COCONUT SHRIMP" BLAND. "FRIED RICE" BLAND. "HOT and SOUR SOUP" BLAND. "LO MEIN" BLAND. "DEEP FRIED DUMPLING" BLAND. Waiter and Waitress were very accommodating. Just the Food wasn't Good. When We got Home. My Wife got Sick and Threw Up Everything from the Buffet. Apparently something was Bad on the Buffet. We think it was the Fish. Needless to say. Very Bad Experience. We Will Not...

We tried this place for the first time yesterday.... it was o.k. at best. There was a variety, but a lot of the items were over salty, the dessert bar was minimal, the sushi selection was OK but some of the pieces were unfamiliar to me when it came to taste. We watched them put a whole rack of ribs on the (visually steaming hot) buffet, my husband went up and immediately grabbed a few, he bit it, and it was cold to the touch, I felt it as well so he definitely wasn't lying about it. We immediately told one of the workers who didn't seem to understand what I said to him, so we also told the lady that worked at the front register, but nobody even attempted to pull them off the buffet at all. Coming from a food service and culinary background I know food temperatures and this was far from acceptable. I highly doubt we will be going back...

First time and last going there. The service was amazing and everyone was friendly from the time I walked in to the time I left. The food was amazing and they had stuff I've never tried before and I love my Chinese food.

They get one star because they brought out a fresh pan on the shrimp mixed with crab and onions and I got some. Started eating and my daughter said there was a roach on shrimp. I was done eating. And lady apologized and said that she was sorry and I'll get half off our meal because that doesn't happen they're super clean.

My daughter still wanted to stay and eat so I said they eat it. When I was finished I was given the bill and they only took half off of my meal not the whole thing like they said they would. I paid the bill and I left.
