Rafferty’s use to be my number one restaurant 20 years ago when we were stationed at Ft Campbell. The salads are still Amazing! I ordered a ribeye ( my favorite steak ) it was cold 😳 Now here’s the catch, the baked potato was Hot 🔥, I attempted to notify the bartender however she was busy mixing drinks and chatting with her co-worker. The customers sitting next to me noticed that I barely touched the ribeye and asked me was it good? I told them it was cold. One of the customers stopped the manager and informed the manager I needed to speak with her. She came up to me and noticed I barely touched the steak. She asked me if the steak wasn’t good I said it was cold. She retrieved the steak and immediately returned with the same steak. Guess what it was still cold. I got her attention and she return. I invited her to try the steak for herself, she touched the steak and felt it was cold. She apologized and asked me if she wanted me to take it off my bill. I informed her I wasn’t looking for a free meal, I was hungry and wanted a good meal. She left and I received my check with the steak price still on the bill. I asked for a togo box and paid the bill and left a 20% plus extra time. At this point I am Over eating out here in America! People now days are lovers of money, deliver poor quality, and horrible customer service. Rafferty’s in Clarksville Tn Great Bar conversations ( allot of business owners meet there to discuss etc ) Perhaps it was just one of those bad days in the kitchen.#keithlee The picture attached is a picture of the steak barely touched. Read moreI’ve been to Rafferty’s a few times; always have had great food & service. This time, was somewhat different. I took my family here for the very first time & their first visit wasn’t as pleasant as mine & my husband’s normally are. The service from my waitress was actually great & the food was delicious, but the host at the front was not pleasant at all to deal with.
We request a booth & a high chair for 4 adults & a 2yr old. She advised us we can’t have a booth because they can’t put the high chair in the middle of the aisle, which I was originally ok with, I understood. But then, the mother of the child said we wouldn’t need the high chair because she honestly doesn’t believe her 2yr old would sit in it, so I looked at the host & said well, we would like to sit at the booth now then since we aren’t using the high chair & her baby is sitting in her lap. The host was like we still can’t allow you to have a booth because we count the baby as a 5th person (like a 2yr old is a normal size person).
I spoke to the manager on duty, which was a man (forgot his name); he advised that he was unsure why we couldn’t sit in the booth & he apologized for what happened & the only thing Rafferty’s doesn’t allow is high chairs in the aisle, but we can have a booth with the baby.
The manager & waitress we had is the only reason I’m leaving 3 stars for today’s service.
I feel if you are a parent with a child, you should have the right as any other person to choose where you sit if the seat is available with our child...
Read moreI dined at Rafferty's of Clarksville for the first time on 10/15/21. Let me tell you about my experience. First of all, we arrived and parked and the restaurant was busy, which was to be expected because of the lunch rush. This didn't phase our wonderful hostess who immediately was able to seat us just as we walked in. The restaurant was clean and had already made a great first impression with me.
This is when we met our server, Rachel. This woman was one of if not the best server I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. She was swift with taking our drink order and made sure to ask us if we wanted an appetizer. We got the cheese fries, by the way, and they were awesome! The appetizer came out quickly, despite the lunch rush and Rachel took our order. When she came to check on us soon after it had arrived, she realized that my side item was not with the order and asked me about it. I originally was just going to let it be and not say anything about it, but Rachel was on top of things! She quickly went back to the kitchen and got my side item.
The rest of the dining experience was great and I was impressed with all of the staff I interacted with when I dined there for the first time, but Rachel's attention to detail and top-notch service is what drove this review to become 5 stars! Hope to eat...
