Whataburger — Restaurant in Clarksville

Well, it took about 15 min from order to food. When ordering we expected to get medium-sized drinks but when we made the order the male manager automatically put in large drinks and fries. This is an extra charge. Vs asking us if we wanted to upgrade. I feel this is a deceptive practice when ordering. Our screen was showing what others were ordering not our order. Then when receiving the drinks they were wrong when we corrected the attendant she acted like it was our fault and the smiles stopped. When the manager brought our food to the window we saw 6 ketchup packets and asked for one more cause I use so much on my food. However, we had 4 burger meals so again the manager started his attitude. When asking for one more ketchup he started his spiel of why we need another 1 ketchup 6 should be enough it should be good. We did get 1 more so if it's an issue then it shouldn't be 4 packets printed on the receipt and charge me for 1 extra. When we sat in the parking lot eating in our car the manager came out to bring someone else there order to their car 2 spaces away. This is where we grossed out. He came out opening the store doors with his blue gloves touching the storefront door, and a car door then handing food and going back touching the same door with his blue gloves on. Disgusting cause I don't think he took those gloves off and continued doing food. After seeing that we through our food out. We agreed that we would have rather not seen that. We won't be back. The consensus in the car was we would have someone wash their hands and handle food then to see all of the germs being passed around on these gloves. Unfortunately, the manager can't say I changed my gloves or didn't the impression has been made not only by the long wait with only one car ahead of us, to the female attendant not making sure our drink order was correct, from the manager having an issue with ketchup and poor hygiene with cooking and germs we won't come back. Usually, we love this place. I'm from Texas so this feels like home. Had a terrible experience at the one off Madison St. The burger had big chunks of lettuce core that was brown and terribly bad. We placed the huge pieces of lettuce cores on a napkin and I took it to the staff to see. No one was at counter, all in back laughing. I finally sat it down on the counter and walked back there and asked for assistance. A young girl came out and just stared at me. I pointed to the lettuce and said I wanted to show you what my husband was served on his burger and asked that she let the back know so it doesn't happen to someone else. Again, she just stared at me like I was being rude and picky. Then she said, throw it away! I said, excuse me? She said, I told you to throw it away! I stared right back and said you served that disgusting lettuce to us and now it is yours. She never apologized or said anything friendly. We walked out and we will not be back. She was young, we are retired. I think a little customer respect would have...

So my wife Alanna had made an online order, pretty simple, burger with cheese lettuce and BBQ sauce, bacon egg and cheese biscuit and a large order of fries. The order was suppose to be ready by 11:13pm, and wasn't even started when she walked in at 11:17pm, then had to spend another almost 20minutes standing there with maybe 3 cars in drive thru and nobody else in the store. We left the store at 11:32pm. Got our order, left it up to the gentleman who was making food to apologize about the wait, also they had no biscuits for their breakfast sandwiches so I had to get a bun, there was way too much BBQ sauce on the burger and the fries were OVERLOADED with salt.
