Stop deleting my review. I attempted to make a to go order on 11/10/2019 around 925 pm. Was told they had a rule not to take phone orders, and that I had to come in to make my order. Upon arrival I made an order, leaving to come back approximately 5 minutes later for pick-up. Upon re-arrival I am told that they are breaking the grill down, and that I was told very snidely that I could just go to another Waffle House. This wasn’t occurring when I was there just 5 minutes earlier. This is when I got the manager involved, whom I then asked if this is how they treat their customers. Heather, the server giving me problems then decided she wanted to take it to another level raising her voice (yelling). I asked the manager how many times I had come in, in the early morning time (also 3rd shift) with a phone order. I then told her how it was passed to me that they didn't take orders over the phone, and it was their policy (passed to me over the phone). To both questions, she looked at Heather and assured me "no", this was not how they treat their customers. All the while the server was being very abrasive. I then asked what her name was. She retorted "Jango"...and gave me the double deuces for me to leave. If you don't know what that means...it is a very disrespectful hand gesture. I then looked at the manager, and asked if she was going to do anything. She wouldn't answer. Well, I want answers. I especially like how this occurred on Veterans weekend in an Army town. Oh...and by the way...I AM a three service veteran...and on Veteran’s day weekend. I want someone’s job. I expect a call. To the owner…if you have camera’s I implore you watch/listen to them for accuracy sake. I have left my number...
Read moreGenerally pretty understanding but the experience this particular day was not a good one. Our normal WH location is closed for rehab so we tried this one. We had to wait while tables had to be cleared and cleaned (3 tables sat untouched for 10 minutes). Staff seemed to be really busy but seemed disorganized. When we were seated we had to say multiple times what we wanted. A partial order came out before we had coffee and water delivered which took asking for the basics two times. Didn't receive parts of the order and asked about and got sausage cold on plate that looked like something else had been taken off it. Bacon had to be sent back as you could tell the fat was still raw looking. Had to ask again about the bacon and when it came back, the fat looked like it may have been cooked better but when eating could taste it wasn't really done.
For the first time I only had one coffee in a WH. Waitress seemed more worried about another few customers who were being served and was asked multiple times about refills.
This may have just been a bad day for the store so will go back and try this location again but this particular visit ranks as one of my worst experiences at a waffle house (and I've been to a lot of locations all over the states). The whole meal was in portions of time so one was eating while the other was waiting for something (to include a coffee refill lol).
If we do return to the location I will...
Read moreThey totally disrespected me. I visit with my 2 yr daughter and my 2 month baby. I asked for a kids meal for my daughter and my meal. i got my daughter meal first while they prepared mine. my daughter grabs a piece of bacon and reaches for my mouth to share with me. at that time the waiter being totally rude and disrespectful approached me and raising her voice start telling me that I'm eating my children meal that she is going to charge me for a full adult meal. at this point she still hasn't bring me my meal. I refuse and told her to call the manager, but the manager was just worse. and told me that I have to pay full price or was going to call police. the call the police and they told her that they weren't gonna do anything cuz I was paying for my children's meal and the whole thing was a waste of time. the manager told me that I cant come back to that store. and the rude employe told me to stop feeding my daughter and Get The Hell Out Of The Store and never come back. she did this at loud voice In front of a store full of customers staring at me my baby and my 2 year old daughter crying and I had to get out and go through this embarrassment all because my daughter wanted to share a small piece of bacon. I'll really like this not to go unnoticed by higher waffle house head quarters. Is the worse experience I've ever had in a...
