I'm not happy with how boost is always offering new customers a deal on a phone or plan but never offers existing costumers the smallest thing. I have been with boost on and off for over 5 years and besides the free phone I got st first I can't even get a upgrade. Two months ago I busted my whole screen when I dropped it in the parking lot so I went straight to the boost mobile store and they said all I could do was pay full price for a new phone. So like I do Everytime something happens I buy a phone at Walmart.. I'm on a fixed income and I don't have a lot of money to spend on a phone. And I am very bad about damaging it I need a company who rewards their current customers instead of worrying so much about reeling other customers in. Read moreI've been with Boost Mobile for a couple years now. This particular store hasn't caused me too many issues and they've been polite when I've been in. This particular visit, they were unable to solve the issue with my phone but directed me to the customer service line to be able to fix my issue. It was eventually sorted out which I was thankful for. The only complaint I have is they charge to activate your phone and they also charge for sim card (in store only, if you call customer service and have it mailed, it is free). The manager was a bit testy with me but I was actually stranded this visit and had no way to get proper transportation and he offered me a ride on his lunch break if it was close by. Yesterday, I visited this store to transfer my AT&T line to your service. I agreed to the initial payment using my debit card to cover the monthly plan and line activation costs. However, after a lengthy process, AT&T denied the transfer because the line is not in my name but in my boyfriend’s, and I am not authorized to make this transfer.
the store has refused to refund my money even though the transfer was not completed.
My main question is why I was charged the full amount before confirming the feasibility of the transfer. The store claims that the charge covers the monthly plan and activation, but since the line transfer did not go through, I believe this charge should not have...
