This is the worst location I have dealt with. I have been to many Gamestop locations because I move a lot, but this one is total trash. I have encountered 3 different employees that have completely rude to me. Which I normally don't care about, but it has been when I am coming in with a problem that needs to be resolved. First, I had bought GTA V here for way more than what Amazon sells it for, but I wanted to play it same day. The copy I got didn't work, so no big deal I went to get it replaced about 15 minutes before they closed. Took it home and that copy didn't work, and the employee said it was probably my Xbox glitching or something. Which is impossible because every other game I have works perfectly. Took GTA back and finally got a working copy. Now, I traded in some games and I got the usual pocket change for them, which I knew would happen and I didn't care. But 2 of the game I traded didn't show up on the receipt and I didn't get paid for. So I took the receipt in and asked for my games, and they said they had threw them away. They took my games, gave nothing for them and had no record of taking them, but confessed to my face that they threw them in the trash. Stole from me, and threw them away without my consent. So what did they give me today for throwing away my games? $1. One dollar, and told me that was it and that I was wasting my time. I am done with this location, and probably Gamestop from now on. Read moreOne of the managers at this location, "Jeremy," tried to scam me out of $62 dollars by claiming I couldn't return used games I'd only had for four days.
We all know GameStop policy is seven days on used games for any reason.
He lied and said that because I had picked them up at the same time as returning something else, that the new transaction fell under the old one's return window. I called BS to his face and he asked another employee to look at my receipt and tell me that I couldn't return the games. The girl looked, then said "Why not? It says he bought them four days ago."
He then took the receipt back and told me he wasn't going to let me return them, but would let me trade them in.
I snatched my receipt out of his hand, went to the GameStop at the mall, and they did the return with no questions.
I can only imagine how many times he's screwed less perceptive customers to make his sales numbers look...
