We've went through this drive thru 3 times n the past week. Only 1 of those times was my food correct. Its not a choice of not liking onions its that im allergic to them. I make sure that the person who takes the order knows its an allergy at the speaker when placing the order, then I verify it again when I pay. Earlier I did the same thing i tried asking at the pickup window about the order & I wasn't able to i had asked about a side item & by the time I said oh ok he (the manager from a few nights ago) had shut the window & turned around so I couldn't ask the manager who was at the window if they made sure no onions was on my food & that safe measures were taken. I got home, handed out the other food, then I got my food outta the bag, when I picked it up to take a bite the 2 small parts that fell off it had looked like a part of the bacon broke off & it was covered n a lot of sauce. That thought changed fast when i picked em up, i immediately dropped em on the wrapper & went for my epi-pens. Im already on oxygen so that helps to a certain point. After epi-pens were used , I wanted to know if there was more on it while I was waiting for help to take me to get checked by a doc & monitored. So i took several safety measures (gloves, used utensils & more measures of safety) to b able to look further into the burger. onions were found between the bun pickles & a 2nd stack between the pickles & bacon & they were covered up by the cheese sauce. a few nights ago I had to take the food back for the same reason it had onions on it but there was very lil sauce so they were easily seen & not hidden like tonight'sburger. Since I have to be monitored by a Healthcare provider after the allergic reaction & use of the epi-pens.I cant take the food back & have it fixed. im not gonna get to eat tonight , im out the cost of the meal I paid for..but thats mild compared to my safety & the cost for medical treatment due to this. Yea I have epi-pens 4 this exact reason however if I cant get to em n time or to a hospital what is Wendy's gonna tell my kids? Oh sorry we killed ur mom cause we didn't wanna take the 1 or 2 mins to make sure it was safe. It was the same manager & same person who took my order a few nights ago & the person who took my order both times verified he put no onions.it didn't matter it was ignored by whoever had made the burger both times. Im extreamly mad to put it nicely since this is able to been seen by kids. I will be contacting corporate, & when im done being monitored over the reaction & use of epi-pens side effects i will b going to this location to get all info needed. I was nice & understanding a few nights ago but when the same manager gives his word & its useless. I will be telling him that to his face when im able to talk again due to the allergic reaction...
Read moreHard to say on atmosphere since I came through the drive-thru but it was pleasant and quick. So not so much a complaint but it is going to be a bit of a critique. Asiago chicken sandwich always good after all it's a BLT with white cheese and chicken. The criticism comes to the fries. Ungrateful that the fresher fries ended up in the baconator Frys but you didn't even bother to hide the fact that you barely put any cheese sauce on it you threw way too much shredded cheese on top of it because you didn't have enough of your cheese sauce at least the baconator fries had salt. But I think the worst part about the baconator fries that I got was that you didn't bother to rip up the bacon you just threw three or four slabs of bacon on their and called it a day. Now when it came to my large fry it was very evident with my first handful that these fries were refried after they probably sat there for a while and don't you dare tell me I don't know because I used to work for you guys I know Wendy's has a habit of refrying their fries to make them fresh again but if you do that you got to pull the fries if they don't come out right. And these ones did not come out right there was no salt whatsoever it's like the scooper you used didn't even have any salt on it because there was no salt transfer at all. And a good portion of that large fry were different stages of over fried it may not looked at color-wise but they were stale and some tasted like your Grease. Again it's not a complaint or and I don't want to refund. But people who work Friday nights even the weekends they need to do a better check of quality. I would add photo evidence but I ate it all I'm on...
Read moreAfter receiving a doordash order (just after 10pm) for the Wendy's located on Wilma Rudolph and having sat in the drive-thru for quite some time to retrieve a door-dash order (and with no one answering at the drive-thru), I then proceeded to the drive-thru window when a heavy-set girl came to the window to rudely inform me that they were not taking anymore orders. I then went on to explain to her that I had an already accepted door-dash order when she had then cut me off from speaking and repeated herself as she shut the window in my face (while I was still sitting there trying to talk to her to figure out what to do about said order) and she just rudely walked away and left me sitting there....
So I then immediately contacted door-dash to rectify the situation and then I even called back to this Wendy's and asked to speak to the manager when the same girl picked up and had addressed herself as the manager.... (Which by being prior senior management in retail, I didn't buy it for a minute) ....so now here I am making this post about 'her' lack of professionalism and disrespect to not only myself, but to a service (Door-dash) that helps support their's amongst other local businesses.
....which by the way, due to this I had to deal with the very angry customer, I lost time and I lost money. ..
However "if" this 'girl' 'is' or 'was' ever a manager for Wendy's, they might really to consider either retraining her, demoting her or just removing her from their business all together. She's rude, she's sloppy, lazy and completely appears to be bad for business!
Anyone's business for...
