I was looking forward to trying to food at this restaurant, as I am looking for a good Thai restaurant close to my house.
The people were nice and other patrons there recommended the food with much enthusiasm so I was looking forward to it. I got my food, went home.
I opened my sesame chicken and the brown rice. They looked great. So I served the rice and the chicken and took the first bite... ...of a very dry chicken... then I started to taste the the sauce, and that did not help either. The sauce was overwhelmingly sweet and thick, the opposite texture to blend well wlth the dry chicken. Maybe I got a dish that is not done well by the cook or I just had complete bad luck, but I would not go there again. I also got soup and egg rolls, and now I'm regretting it.
Their service was good, the folks at the store were nice. The locale was clean. So I am giving it an extra star for that.
Part 2: I tried the Wonton soup and it was consistent with the other dishes. It was flavorless and felt as if it had been recently defrozested and quickly cooked. Well, the broth was good. But not the wontons.
I was very disappointed. I didn't finish the meal. I ended up throwing everything away, including the egg roll untried. I kept the brown rice which was well cooked and which I'll mix with something else.

Read moreI'll start with the fried rice that I didn't even order that ended up in my tray of Pad Thai, I assume, as a side? The rice that was clearly yesterday's FRIED rice before it was TODAY'S fried rice. It was so dark and soaked in soy sauce, yet so dry that the chicken jerky tossed in it was moist by comparison. The spring roll came served right on top of the Pad Thai, dripping in whatever yellow sauce that stained the rice noodles. There were crusted peanuts and a wedge of lime, but outside of this, the dish in front of me did not resemble any Pad Thai I've ever had. Ultimately, it lacked flavor, any kind of spice, and was just as sorry as the rice it was served with. The Singapore rice noodles seemed to be served in the same yellow sauce as the Pad Thai. It was bland and half the add-ins we ordered, we did not receive. $50 to serve two people. Don't waste your money here. They don't even answer reviews or try to manage the service aspect of...
Read moreI truly hesitate before giving bad reviews because I hate being the reason to deter business away from someone’s livelihood, but as a consumer I would like to spend my money where I enjoy what I paid for. Unfortunately the chicken chop Suey was extremely bland and the chicken tasted a day old. The chicken fried rice was very dry and flavorless as well. The eggroll tasted very weird not like any eggroll I’ve ever had. The noodles in broth didn’t taste like anything but that’s what they call their egg noodle lo mein. The staff is very friendly. Does Sesame chicken sauce was OK but they don’t put enough sauce and the chicken is...
