I visited this McDonald's at 8:30 in the morning on a weekday. It was somewhat busy. It was busier going through the drive-thru so I chose to go inside. I so should have gone through the drive-through myself. There were only two single people ahead of me in line and it still took me almost 45 minutes to get a breakfast burrito and a sausage McGriddle with cheese. I ordered a simple iced coffee with extra hazelnut creamer and received a somewhat iced coffee that had cream but it was regular cream and no sugar. When I took my coffee back and showed them my receipt and show them what I had received the manager told me that I should have made sure when they were making it they they use hazelnut creamer and sugar. She informed me that I should have reminded the person making my coffee that I want extra hazelnut creamer. I worked at a McDonald's as a first assistant store manager for five years in New Mexico just under 2 years ago. I understand that things get busy or hectic. But in no way shape or form should I have been told did it was my responsibility to make sure that my coffee was made the way it was supposed to be. It was the employees responsibility to make sure that my coffee was made the way it was supposed to be. The biggest thing that bothered me was that I was told especially being the customer that I was in the wrong. In the customer service field the last thing you do is argue with the customer. I can understand if I had been rude. I was not only very polite, patient, and understanding but even after being told that I was in the wrong I was it still very polite and patient. However I did make sure to call the corporate office and explain to them what happened. The corporate office sent me a coupon for a free breakfast and it told me that the manager for the restaurant should have given me one. Generally when I go to this particular McDonald's the staff is very courteous, and kind and makes me feel like more than just a customer. The restaurant is impeccably clean and the food is always wonderful. Even after the experience I had I still make a stop at least a couple of...
Read moreEvery time I come here, they always mess up my order, or charge me more than I’m supposed to pay! I went through the drive through on Friday , got a 6 piece nugget’s on my rewards it was free, got a large fry (free fry Friday! If you use the app, right?) and I got a Mc Chicken n a 4 piece nugget(2 for $3.99). When I got to the window this girl tells me that it’s $8.18, so I’m like, nahh, I owe you $3.99 and handed her $4.00 in change! She handed me a penny and the receipt, after I had to explain how it was only the 2 for $3.99 that I was paying for, everything else was free! I get up to the next window and I received everything except the 4 piece, and for once I didn’t have to give them the receipt to check what I paid for! And because they didn’t check the receipt, is why I didn’t get the 4 piece nugget I paid for! Didn’t realize that it wasn’t in the bag until after I was already home because my grandson got out of the car seat to sit up front per usual but he wouldn’t get back in his seat until I gave him his fries!(This is our daily routine after school, to get a large fry with no salt!!! If he had a good day, at school!) I will say, they are getting better help in there and things have been better recently than in the past! So management must be doing their job to get rid of people, who just don’t have the patience or understanding to be dealing with the public like that, trust me, I’ve seen them come n go!!! Thumbs up to the new managers getting things in order and the new hires, you did good this time!!! Hoping to see continued improvements in your drive thru service, keep up the good work!!! The new Spanish girls really know time management n corrected the prior cashiers flaws!! You should definitely keep her n the new manager! They actually know...
Read moreFirst of all, getting food at this location is hit or miss. Sometimes the burgers are freshly cooked, sometimes they are old and dry. For the most part, all the employees are friendly and are great to the customers. Sometimes there are employees that will not deliver food to the people with table numbers dining in. Come to find out, the bag of food (not on a tray) has been sitting at the takeout counter. Sometimes, you will wait, and wait, and wait for food that never shows up. Then you have to wait at the counter until somebody notices you, and you have to explain that the food you ordered on the kiosk never came. I don't know what their problem is, but when the McDonalds system runs well, it is so satisfying. Sometimes you don't get a cup with your meal and need to ask for one back at the counter (after somone notices you standing there- that could take 15 minutes. I also notice that ALWAYS, one of the two trash cans are so full, nothing else can fit. I don't think I am senselessly complaining, because there are times when it does run well. That means that it can be accomplished. ANYWAY, I hope that things improve there, because I eat there every day. And one more thing- I stopped by for breakfast one morning and saw they had a special on Sausage McMuffins, so I ordered two. Neither one had egg in it. It was an English muffin with sausage and cheese. I let that slide too. McDonalds isn't like it used to be. Oh, and one more thing . . . One of the employees decided to park in one of the (two) parking spots close to the door. I think they need a Manager that pays attention to what really goes on at that location, and does the right thing and enforces the rules and standard practices established by McDonalds. The rules and standards are there...
