Let’s talk about this brand new drive thru chipotle…I’ve been here twice with both bad experiences, I tried to give them another chance after the first time but unfortunately they failed.
During my first visit, I ordered through my app for pick up thought the drive thru. As I pulled up they already had a line at the drive thru, I still had no issue with waiting. I got to the window a little earlier than expected and my food wasn’t ready. Once again, still no issue. However, I ended up waiting a whole 10 minutes until my food was ready. For one, you could’ve told me to pull into a parking space and for two, you could’ve just let me know it wasn’t ready and i would’ve been okay with the wait. However, out of every chipotle I’ve been too in life, I’ve never had to wait over 5-10min for my food, especially if I ordered through the app. Usually my food is waiting for me upon arrival.
With all that being said, i still decided to give them another chance due to this location being new and I did come at a busy time.
Yesterday, I had my second visit. I placed my order at 7:25pm, slotted to be picked up at 7:40p. I got to the location right at 7:40p. Of course they had a line in the drive thru, so I didn’t get to the window until about 7:45p. Keep in mind this is 20 mins AFTER i placed my mobile order. When I get to the window they ask me for my order and go back in. She came back and told me they were making it as we speak, fine. However, 5 minutes pass and she comes back and tells me to pull around. By this time it’s 7:50p. I pull around…i waited in the front til about 8p and decided to go in because it seemed like they forgot about me. If you say my order was currently being made. Why did I have To pull up and why did I wait for another 10 minutes? By this time, I’m annoyed because this is the second time I came here and had to wait an unreasonable amount of time to get a mobile order. I come in and there’s a Hispanic lady at the register. For this to be a new location, everything including the workers look disheveled. I requested to speak to a manager because I wanted a refund and did not want my food anymore. She started talking in Spanish to another lady. For one that’s disrespectful because what are you saying in Spanish that you can’t say in English? Finally, a black lady comes from around the corner. I’m still not sure if she was a manager or not because she didn’t introduce herself as such. I repeat myself in reference to my complaint and she immediately stops me and says no no no we can’t do that. We can’t give you a refund. I have to call the chipotle number. My whole thing is nobody seem concerned or trying to rectify the issue. Nobody even went to check to see if my food was ready at the moment. The nonchalant attitudes as if this is just another customer was very unprofessional and I have worked in fast food and retail before and if the rule still stands, you should always try to make it right with the customer. Immediately walked out because clearly they didn’t care. I called the chipotle number and received a refund.
I say all this to say for this to be a new location the service And wait times are terrible. I would rather travel to the white Oak location before I go to this location, which is conveniently 30 seconds from my house. Y’all have To do better or get some type of organizational system because what I’ve experienced so far...
Read moreAfter waiting in line for a very long time, I got up to the front to order and they said it was gonna be five minutes if I wanted the chicken in my burrito bowl. So I opted for the honey, chipotle, chicken, which seemed good and they had it ready to go. I got two bowls with the honey, chipotle chicken, and went home to eat it.
I noticed while eating it the chicken seemed pretty chewy, but it tasted OK so I didn’t think anything of it. After a couple more bites, I grew suspicious and took the chicken out to find that it was completely raw. Like I hadn’t even touched a grill. My suspicions are that they cut off some pieces as scraps, and somehow those pieces got thrown back in.
Obviously upset and disappointed, I tried to call up to the restaurant. Well, good luck with that! They have no way to get in contact with anyone up there. The only way to get in contact with someone is to speak with them over chat. A.k.a. a robot, that might get transferred to a real person. I went back-and-forth with two and three different people, wrote emails, trying to get someone who cared about the raw chicken that me and my daughter had eaten. Finally got them to say they were going to cut me a reimbursement check, after they just tried to give me one free meal coupon, not gonna happen! And they said they would refund me with a check in the mail and I have yet to get it.
So just beware and check your chicken, and if something is wrong, you better be eating in the restaurant, because good luck getting in touch with anyone! I am very disappointed in chipotle, and will not be eating there...
Read moreThe girl that was taking my order was so rude . I greeted her and asked her how she was doing. I told her i wanted a salad , she was asking me what i wanted for my meat and told her i wanted guac . I didn’t want meat , i wanted a veggie bowl. i’m not sure what was so complex about saying that she asked me if i wanted a veggie bowl or a salad and i told her i wanted a veggie bowl but also a salad . It has never been a problem before . She had an attitude the whole time while i was adding the toppings to my bowl. I was not rude to her not a single time during the whole interaction. I don’t think i’ll be coming back here . The attitude from this person was just so unnecessary. If it really was such a problem for me to order a “veggie “ bowl , i would’ve gone to a different location . The first day i came here , the person that took care of me would’ve told me right there and than , but they didn’t . I asked the girl if she could give me extra rice because the spoonful she gave me was not enough & she rolled her eyes and sighed at me . Sorry but im never coming back to this location. the attitude was...
