First impression today was not so impressive. I went through the drive thru at 1pm. I expected a long wait at that hour. At the window, I was giving the ice cream I ordered for someone else to take home at the window and was told to pull forward to wait on the rest of my order.
It took 37 minutes to get my food once I ordered. I fully expected that and expected the food would be hot and fresh.
I got my food and on first inspection in the bag, the fries were upside down in the bag. I grabbed one to taste. The fries were great. They were piping hot and fresh.
Next up, I opened my burger to taste. Immediately, I noticed the burger was not as I ordered. I requested no onions and mustard instead of mayonnaise. What I received was their standard deluxe Burger without modification. It had onions and it had their mayonnaise. What was really bad is that the burger was cold and tasted old. It was as if that burger was sitting in the bag waiting on my fries to join it for 30+ minutes. It was a terrible burger. I was so disappointed. Of course, it probably would have tasted better had it been hot and fresh.
At this point, I was still in there parking lot because I was blocked in waiting for the car in front of me to get their order. If you are going through the drive-thru, be prepared to sit and wait. And if you're getting ice cream of any kind, be prepared for them to give it to you at the window and then wait 30+ minutes on the food. Therefore, you need to eat your ice cream before you get the food or it's going to melt.
If you are at this Culvers and you're not going through the drive-thru to order, I do not recommend driving around the building. When you get to the other side you're going to be stuck behind cars who are waiting for...

So we were hanging out in Dunedin one day and decided to stop by for a quick meal after catching the sun-sleepies on the beach that morning.
The menu has a lot of great looking stuff on it, but we decided on burgers. Can't not get a burger during your first time at a burger joint. The burgers were actually very good. Like, Whataburger quality. Almost. The meat patties are very much the star of the show here, and if you get a double like I did, you will absolutely be full.
The buns were nice and soft and strong. The toppings were plentiful. I recommend eating over your fries so all the toppings that all off your burger will land on top and give your fries some personality.
I didn't have that problem. I upgraded my side to chili cheese fries, which was a great idea. They were very hardy and meaty and beany. So good. If you like chili cheese fries, get them. But, if you're interested, my girlfriend's cheese curds were no joke either. You get both yellow and white cheese that are so soft and ooey gooey, but not too melty. I was actually very impressed with them.
For dessert we got one of the milkshake things with peanut butter cups and chocolate in it. I forget exactly which one it was because it was their daily recipe. I like that they have a new featured milkshake each day. That was nice. It was super chunky, like a Blizzard, so you absolutely can't use a straw.
Overall, this was a solid choice for a fast food burger joint. Probably the best fast food burger I've had south of Tally/Jacksonville. I liked it and you...
Read moreSo it seems Culver’s is trying to be Chick-fil-A. They have some worker standing out in the line taking orders, but yet they’re holding up the line from moving really because it was only three cars in the line when I showed up. The one in front of me he took forever. There was no cars in front of that car he could’ve let them go place the order. Then there was me he took my order, repeated it back. I did not order double anything and I got my order brought out to me with a plain double burger, a plain double deluxe extra french fries I wondered why my bill was so much. So on top of taking forever in the line because they think their Chick-fil-A trying to make the line move faster which it doesn’t. I’d like to go up to the menu and look for myself and see what I want without some guy standing in front of me feeling pressured to place an order so I told them I wanted my money back and they questioned me. Don’t you want me to remake it? I said heck no I’m going somewhere else to get Food. So after sitting there for another seven minutes, I finally got my money back. I went elsewhere through a drive-through that nobody held me hostage stuttering over a menu and I was in and out with a perfect order. Seriously get the guy out of the line you’re not Chick-fil-A. You don’t have that down to science leave some things up to Chick-fil-A you’re a burger place. You’re not making the line...
