I never take the time out to write a review, so you know I must be really frustrated in order to write something like this. I had a friend over and we were ordering pizza, so we asked to split the charges, by giving a card over the phone and then paying with cash at the door. We were told it would be no problem and I gave over the card number. I pay the driver the cash when he gets here and he knocks on the door 5 minutes later to let me know I'm missing half of the charge. I explained to him that we paid the other half with a card over the phone and he goes back to his car and drives away. I then get another call from the driver, saying he spoke with the manager and that they never received the number. I gave the driver the name of the person I spoke with on the phone and he apologized and said he could come back for more cash. However, that was not how I wanted to pay for the pizza. The whole POINT was to split the cost. I also had some place to be and did not have time to wait. So I call the store back and talk to another person who puts me on hold and has me explain it to yet another person… none of these people are managers. I am told they close at midnight and I can drive by and pay off the remaining balance then. So I was inconvenienced by having to pay the whole bill (rather than splitting it) and driving all the way there when it was supposed to be a delivery. All I could get was sorry about that. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I will be sticking with Pizza hut from now on. Reading the other reviews I came across one that says they gave someone a free drink and did not charge them for their meal, for running late… and yet they did not even have the decency to let me speak with a manager? Read moreI ordered online at 6:31 (delivery). 6:49 pizza is out of oven for “quality control”. It sat there for THIRTY minutes. Finally out for deliver with Eric. I live 1.5 miles away, straight down Sunset Point Rd. I watched on the app as the driver drives right on past my neighborhood and into Safety Harbor. He makes multiple stops ending up north of Enterprise. FYI, the app kept saying he was 1-2 min away as he was driving away. I finally called the store. I spoke to a female and all she could say twice was, we got busy, we only have 2 delivery drivers, he’ll be there shortly. Customer service 101: don’t make excuses to your customer regarding your lack of staffing. Pizza finally arrived, cold, at 8:02. 43 min after leaving the store and 73 min after coming out of oven. This is not the first time this has happened at this store. I commented regarding the delivery issue on the app. They offer a free pizza or 20% your next order. I said “no thanks”. Also to add insult to jury, the pizza was a large, 3 topping NY crust. On app it was 13.99. While we were eating it, a Domino’s commercial came on the TV advertising exactly the same pizza for 10:99. Read moreThis was the worst Dominos store I have ever frequented. The Assistant manager was belligerent and argumentative when I called about an issue with an inedible overcooked gf pizza. He wouldnt listen to my concern and kept cutting me off, insisting that all gf pizzas are hard and super chewy. From experience of ordering gf pizzas numerous times before from countless dominos locations, they are NOT this way. This guy inisisted he cut the pizza and he knows there was nothing wrong with it. In summary, I had to escalate my issue to corporate so they can be aware of this shady owner-operator business that doesn't even honor the nationwide dominos 100% customer satisfaction promise. When I asked for his name he kept deflecting and insisting that he would give me a store credit for a free pizza, however I told him we were on vacation for one more day and wouldnt be in the area to claim a free pizza for who knows how long. Best advice I could give is before you order, say a prayer that your pizza arrives fine, the store changes its ridiculous customer's-always-wrong policy, or that this arrogant, condescending pizza afficionado no longer works there.
