This location recently opened about a month ago, and is located on Gulf to Bay Blvd near the Thorton's gas station. I decided to go through the drive through at this location because I wanted something fast and cheap that wasn't a burger or taco. Plus, they have that whole Hot N'Ready thing going for them, so Little Caesar's seemed like a no-brainer.
Went through the drive through and ordered a thin crust pepperoni and an order of their Italian cheese bread. We were told by the guy that there would be a wait so that they could make a fresh pizza and breadsticks. We said we were fine with that, so we paid at the window and parked. He said that it would be out shortly. Throughout our time sitting in the parking lot, we watched a few people come and go, but none of them were a LC employee bearing pizza and bread. Finally, my husband decides to follow a group of three women inside, thinking that perhaps our order was the same as another customer's, and there was some kind of mix-up. He's gone about 5 minutes. Hands me a lukewarm pizza box and hot breadsticks, and told me that when he walked in, he could see his order in the window. The three women ahead of him ordered, including some of the Italian cheesesticks. While my husband watched, the employee took the breadsticks off of our order and handed them to the women. At this point, someone else noticed him standing there and asked if they could help him. He said yes, he's been waiting for at least 20 minutes on a thin crust pizza and some cheesesticks. The employee grabbed the pizza out of the window and handed it to my husband before removing a fresh order of cheesesticks from the oven.
Got the pizza home in minutes (we only live a half-mile from this location), and yep. The pizza was now basically cold. Not only that, but it was also pretty overcooked, so that even the middle pieces are super crispy. The timestamp on the label, right beneath "make new order thin crust pizza," and "Italian cheesy breadsticks," and "dark gray car," says 20:24. That means we sat waiting on this pizza for nearly 30 minutes - and would have ended up waiting longer, because it didn't look like anyone was going to walk outside. It's not like anyone at the window gave us a timeframe or directed us to come inside, or we would have.
Every new location has to work out some kinks, and maybe I got what I paid for in going to LC instead of my usual Westshore or Papa John's,...
Read moreWorse little Cesar’s ever! Waited at drive thru to place order - 10 minutes no answer - drive up to the window & honked my horn - has to do twice before anyone came to the window. A very rude young man said their headset wasn’t working properly! Asked if they had any pizza puffs ready- called out to a girl & was told ‘in the oven done in a few minutes’. Was told to park in pick up section - 20 minutes later - no order. I drove back to drive thru & again no one answered. I telephoned the store & as I was leaving my message the same rude man, was able hear me & he doesn’t know what happened but the girl screwed up the order & had to make new ones! I said ‘been waiting 25 mins & not waiting any long just refund my money!’ He told me just drive to the window & will be only 5 minutes. When this guy finally had the order he placed it on the counter inside of the drive thru window & stood back with arms folded. I had to reach up &’in to reach the 2 small boxes & I asked ‘can you stretch out a little & hand them to me?’. His reply ‘ I can’t stretch my arm out because my arm muscle hurts!’ He don’t even push the boxes closer thru the window so I didn’t have to raise myself up & hang out my window! To complete this saga… my order were 2 orders of pepperoni puffs @ I got 1 pepp & 1 cheese!! I told him this is the worse little Cesar’s I have ever been to & will not frequent them again! While I was waiting 2 more cars parked & them followed me to the drive thru since no one came out with their food! I could hear them laughing & joking & of course couldn’t hear anyone at the speaker drive thru! The franchise manager or manager is not monitoring this establishment for service or food quality! I am imagining that they ‘handle the food’ inappropriately in revenge just as the kid purposely didn’t hand me the 2 small boxes &’I had To reach in! So not frequent this location - this is 3rd time they had nothing ready for pickup & 20 to 30 minutes - but this was the worse...
Read moreThis is an updated review. My experience tonight was a very awesome pleasant surprise! I arrived expecting an order to be waiting for me as a surprise. Only to find out that I was the victim of a very early April Fool's prank. The very polite employee checked the system a few times trying to find the order, but I realize that I was played the fool by the supposed benefactor. Upon explaining to the employee that I had a really long day and was super hungry. The young man had some remaining "hot'n ready now" pizzas and wings. I told him that I would be interested in those because again I was very very hungry! The awesome employee gave me a nice discount for the two cheese pizzas, the one pepperoni pizza, and the two orders of wings. I very much appreciate it his due diligence and awesome customer service! Due to the fact that during my six and a half years working at Papa John's in Wyoming. We had issues like what I went through tonight several times a year. Granted we didn't have the hot and ready per se, but in those situations I always gave the customers the employee discount or sometimes I would just buy the pizza for them at full price. I would like to thank the hiring managers at this Little Caesars location for hiring such awesome customer service oriented employees! Keep up the good work and only increase the customer service level to higher levels . The young man who helped me out truly does deserve a huge raise! For the wonderful Pizza Pizza! I say thank...
