One olive makes a pile of iceberg lettuce a Greek Salad!
I would like to preface this by stating the food filled me up and the gyro meat was good.
I was really looking forward to a delicious salad. The menu had cucumbers, red bell peppers, onions, olives, tomatoes, feta and potato salad listed. I chose to skip the potato salad this instant. I was presented with a plate piled high with gyro on top of my vegetables. At first I was impressed, then I side-plated my meat and saw my salad. Iceberg with a few pieces of romaine lettuce. ONE slice of cucumber, 1 slice of tomato, 1 extremely thin slice of red onion, 1 slice of green bell pepper, shredded mozzarella cheese, and 1 calamatta olive with a side of tzatziki and a side of Greek dressing. The menu was pluralizing the ingredients. Where's my red pepper? Where are my olives? Where's the feta cheese? I thought a quick order dine-in restaurant was going to surprise me. They ended up confusing me. $8 for lettuce? I paid extra for the meat and was served a more then fair portion. Next time I will grab a salad pack from Publix for $4 and get a much better salad to get my gyro meat dumped on.
The service was great. The young lady greeted me when I walked in the door from behind the counter. I ordered and paid. She asked if I wanted to leave a tip and told me not to worry if I don't, she would not be offended. I was dinning in so this puzzled me. Who would dine in and not leave a tip? Served myself a water and watch Seinfeld until my salad was presented.
Afterwards I left my plate on the table and was thanked as I left.
Very nice atmosphere. I never checked out the restroom. Seriously though, change your menu or prepare a...
Read moreThe food is ok but customer service is lacking. Didn't include any pita bread in my order but because I ordered from a service, I was told I would have to talk to them about it. Clearly they prepared the order and forgot the pita bread yet they offered no solution to this situation. I was told to contact Doordash which is simply a waste of time, since they just let you know on the site that they will let the restaurant know your feedback. $30 lunch with no pita bread and they refused to deliver it even though they offer delivery at their restaurant and could have easily rectified the situation. This is my last order with them. I have dined at their other locations and received much better food and service. Lesson learned. I am back to update my review. I was pleasantly surprised when Little Greek reached out to me regarding my review. I ordered again today with them directly and the food was excellent, as well as, the service. I appreciate that they truly cared about my business and will happily spread the word. Thanks so much for an excellent lunch. You made my work day much better with the fast and fresh food I...
Read more.. Won't return, don't recommend. The lady working the register got irritated with us for looking at the menu and asking questions. There was nobody else in line and we'd never been before, but we do love Greek salads and wanted to enjoy what we ordered. We placed our order and awaited the food and drinks. She gave me a Stella beer instead of a corona and gave one of my kids a coke instead of a juice. No problem, I drank the beer without complaint but we did ask to switch the soda for the juice. (No thank you on the 4 year old getting caffeine lol) Anyways, we asked for ranch for the kids salads. Only to be told they don't serve ranch. 3 salads, paid for and left on the table because they didn't mention not having ranch at a salad restaurant..... The dressing they use is their signature Italian dressing. Regardless, for the prices, not great customer service, and not great food; we'll stick to the restaurants down in the sponge docks where it's delicious and accomodating for all. Their bread was DELICIOUS though! Honestly, very very good bread. Overall not a...
