Charleys Cheesesteaks and Wings — Restaurant in Clearwater

If I was going off of the food only I would give 5 stars for sure, and if it was based on customer service only I would give it a 1. Unfortunately I am disappointed in my delivery order and customer service afterwards. I ordered a sandwich (Chicken California), an order of loaded fries, and a blueberry lemonade with an extra scoop of blueberries no ice. I am disabled and can't drive so I had to order from Uber eats. It came fairly quickly and all of it was there. Everything was sealed and I was very happy with the delivery service. Then I opened my food and I was super disappointed 😞. My regular size sandwich was missing and huge section of meat, like it had maybe fallen out when the sandwich was cut and moved into the box. My loaded fries was missing the bacon and the cheese/toppings were barely existent. Definitely not enough to even cover half of the fries. Then to top it off my drink was filled with ice and there was definitely not an extra scoop (which was paid for). I can't have ice because of a esophageal condition, so I had to try and sift out all the ice. After I did that I only had about a half cup of lemonade there. I tried to call the restaurant several times and I didn't even get through. It just rang and rang. So I put this type of review on the Uber eats app hoping someone from the store would see it and reach out. I went out to lunch with my hubby the following weekend and we wanted Charley's. I thought let's go in and I'll order for us as well as talk to staff about my experience. The girl taking my order was told about my issue and she says "oh, ok well I don't know" and I said well maybe I could get compensated for it and she didn't even offer to get a manager or anything. We got our food and left. Just rubbed me the wrong way and I am not an aggressive person and will not scream or make a scene anywhere. My next step is corporate and see if they can help me. If not I'll just dine elsewhere. It is pretty pricey too and I would hope they would make it right. My recommendation, if you're there eating or grabbing takeout check your food thoroughly. The food itself is delicious and one of our favs but with poor customer service, losing business is a risk....

Ordered food for family after 12 hour shift, originally my boyfriend called and the person who answered said he was not able to take a telephone order at that time and that the order could only be made “in person”. I heard this and knew it was incorrect. I then went onto google and found their website and ordered within 5 minutes @ 20:13. The food was picked up by my boyfriend who unfortunately gave the location the benefit of the doubt and did NOT check the bag for missing items. Once home it was found that an entire order of 6 wings was missing from package, writer called store @21:03 after which time the location was closed and no answer. Writer attempted to make a complaint on Charley’s website-there is no way to make a complaint on their website, writer then downloaded app and signed up as member and again no option for online feedback or complaint. The food we received was delicious but unfortunately the order was missing a meal and the team member who answered the initial call was attempting to avoid allowing a customer to order over the phone which is wrong. Hopefully they can do better and fix those...

Honestly not a bad place at all. This location specifically unfortunately always, always forgets just a little something with my order (online orders fwiw).

So occasionally it will be an order of fries, or maybe a drink, but usually not a whole steak or order of wings. That did happen once though.

They are super helpful and always now ask me if everything is there lol.

Their best items turn into their worst though just because of the packaging! It's so weird. The fries are amazing when they're fresh. After they sit in those little boxes and then in a bag? Forget it. Mostly soggy salt sticks.

Cheese sticks are solid, nothing special, what did you think?

The Philly's are solid, I don't think they're remarkable. Definitely a fresh entry into the local area. I'm thinking Delcos, Jersey Mike's, Pubsubs, etc.

Boneless wings are good, Cajun dry rub is super.

All the fresh fruit lemonades are AMAZING. Definitely get one.

Prices could be lower...
