I came here a year ago and the food was OUTSTANDING. Decided to come back and WOW was I disappointed. This place seems to have been bought out by a completely different nationality. The food was deplorable, service was terrible. I ordered the traditional hotdog which consists of bacon, hotdog, potato chips, coleslaw, corn and cheeses. The waiter bring me hotdog with ketchup sprinkled corn and 3 full size potato chips. I thought it was a joke. Mind you, Iâm Colombian therefore I know what to expect. I tell him âsir, this is not what I ordered, itâs missing half the ingredients â he goes âlet me take it backâ... he comes back and goes âwell nobody likes coleslaw in their hotdog so we stopped putting coleslaw â soooooo....??? Did you forget to mention that you donât put the coleslaw, bacon and cheeses? So heâs like âdo you want something else, I can put the order in now.â So I asked âhow about the appetizer that we ordered?â He goes âoh, I forgotâ... GREAT. Anyway I REFUSED to order anything else. My husband ordered the fried plantain with shredded meats and salad, another joke. Itâs supposed to be fried GREEN plantain which is crunchy and salty. They gave him fried yellow plantain which is sweet and completely opposite in flavor. He said it was disgusting. Overall extremely disappointing, so sad this place is being ran this way after such a good reputation. Not to mention a complete embarrassment of food that does NOT represent my...
Read moreAfter years of trying, I had nearly written off eating at this place. Why? Because they were always closed during their posted hours of operation. In any event, I recently stumbled upon them while they were open, and decided to give them a long-overdue shot.
They are a Venezuelan/Colombian restaurant, so I decided Iâd give their bandeja paisa a try. Iâve had the dish at numerous Colombian restaurants throughout Tampa Bay, so Iâm familiar with it. I have to say that while theirs is not bad, itâs not great either. For one, their skirt steak is chopped up into pieces, rather than served whole. Unusual, but ok, whatever. My biggest complaint about their bandeja paisa is their portion size. Itâs small. Small portions of everything. Bandeja paisa is supposed to be a huge dish. One thing you should never say after eating it is, âIâm still hungry.â Well, I left still hungry.
I might give them another try, but then again, it may be years before I catch them actually...

The meal at home was truly enjoyable!
I would like to suggest considering burritos that include at least three options of Mexican-style sauces, with one being a flavorful spicy variant. Personally, this is my preferred choice. Additionally, a few extra chips would enhance the portion size perfectly.
I also recommend adding cups of salsa verde and salsa roja to your menu plates at no additional cost, as they would complement the meal wonderfully. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, aside from the feedback regarding the...
