Super excited to visit this bakey for few months now. Hubby and I are lunch at First Watch and made sure we have enough room for coffee and dessert. Soon as I ask the lady in the register who is their coffee roaster. No idea what kind of coffee they offer is not surprising for a bakery but for a cafe it's a no. No. So we still order a black coffee with our oreo cake and soon as sip the coffee we knew this is not a cafe for us. Look warm coffee and very sour. So we decided to give the latte a try. Get even more disappointed. I never tasted latte that sour. So I ask again who is their roaster and said its Fortuna. Don't know much about them more than Joe van gogh, Larry's beans and of course Carolina Coffee. - advised maybe they need to switch coffee. Let's give them a review for bake goods. Display case for Saturday is very week. Not much options and a lot of empty space. When we order slice Oreo cake I specifically told them it's for here. We don't like eating in plastic container and want to enjoy food properly. And gave us a smush cake and very unpleasant presentation of their service. (images below) so we decided to just l. We love supporting small and local businesses but this type of service is a no. No Now the experience become unpleasant. Hope management will take this review as a friendly feedback room for improvement.

Solid deli options at a reasonable price. I would appreciate if they didn't cover you over in styrofoam for dine in. Seems there is no dishwasher on the premises. If it needs to be disposable why not paper? In a world where so many businesses are stepping up and trying to do the environmentally responsible thing, Ketchie Creek is lagging behind. Also, I think we might have come on some sort of bring-your-teen to work day. There were a dozen young people behind the counter with only 3 of them serving customers at any one time. There was one adult staff member doing her very best to guide the young employees, but it looked like herding cats. The sheer quantity of staff milling about was shocking, but what was more astounding is that none of them thought to bring our meals to the table. You'd think they'd serve us just to stop the boredom of standing around and chatting with one another. I appreciate the vision behind this family-owned business, but it doesn't quite hit the mark.

We really like the Mocksville location for desserts and salads, but have not been to Clemmons. We simply wanted a sourdough bread for the grilled cheese kids meal. We were refused the sourdough, and charged the price of an adult meal instead for the same food. I even offered to pay a small up charge for the sourdough and was refused. The menu doesn’t indicate anywhere that the bread cannot be chosen, and in fact, lists the entire bread options above the kids meal. It’s a deli with bread choices, so choices for children should be allowed. I don’t understand the refusal. It was all young staff simply just hanging around chatting with only one young lady at the register trying to be helpful. The adult half sandwiches left much to be desired, appeared tossed together, and were soggy. It was a melt and nothing was melted, and it was only cold, sliced chicken. It was simply too many issues for one meal. We won’t be back to this location.

I wanted coffee and was super close to Ketchie Creek in Clemmons, so I stopped by. I got a 20oz. Amaretto Latte and a Cherry Cream Horn (that was not on my diet, lol). I have to say that Cream Horn was heavenly and delicious, & the latte was a perfect accompanying beverage! The cost was under $9... I'm going to make this my coffee spot in Clemmons. They offer a good selection of beverages and so many tasty desserts! They offer breakfast Muffins, quiche, oatmeal, and giant cinnamon rolls. They make deli-style sandwiches and wraps with a good variety of bread & loads of trimmings. They have numerous sides dishes to choose from and a lot of salad options with around 9 different dressings. They do indeed have a kids menu. They make cupcakes, poundcakes, dessert, and layer cakes to order or by the slice (they had at least 8 varieties when I was perusing my options. They also offer a large selection of individual desserts (cookies, brownies, Cream Horns, eclairs, coconut macaroons (oh my), and the list goes on and on! Stop by the Clemmons or Mocksville, NC locations for a quick pick me up or a taste bud adventure. You...
