My first time ordering from this restaurant so we went with dishes I was familiar with. We ordered Tom Kha soup, Crazy Noodle and Mango Curry. The gentleman on the phone and in person was very friendly. Our food was done a bit faster than quoted and it was so hot even after the 15 minute ride home. The Tom Kha soup was really good, it was a dichotomy of creamy, sour and spicy, we really enjoyed the layers of flavor. I've had Crazy Noodle many times at another restaurant that I love and this one was very good too, I would reorder it. Lastly the Mango Curry which was the star of the meal for me. It is spicy and sweet and the mango that has been stewing in that broth was really tasty. My only real complaint is the rice, it was very mushy. Overall, I would definitely try this restaurant again.

If I were to describe our experience at Tree Country in one word, it would be “decent.” Overall, the food was fine - the crispy tofu, stir-fried chicken, and even the bubble tea were all a bit dry (or perhaps “chalky”), and the mango sticky rice was about as memorable as Mike Dukakis, but these were counterbalanced by the rich and fragrant green curry (be sure to add avocados - you won’t regret it!) and the chewy and saucy noodles. The restaurant is takeout only, but we were able to sit at a table and enjoy our boxed up dinner in peace… and almost complete silence, which was unusual, but not entirely unpleasant. Moreover, the staff is friendly and the kitchen is prompt. You could certainly do worse in the area than to eat (or order takeout) from here.

My brother and I went to this place last night and I was totally happy with everything about this restaurant. Being an Asian fusion restaurant, they have a variety of Thai, Japanese and Korean dishes on their menu. They also have vegetarian options available so, this place is vegetarian friendly. I ordered Tofu Triangles and Basil Fried Rice without eggs. I enjoyed both the dishes and really liked the Basil Fried Rice. My brother ordered for Vegetable Soup, Spicy Salmon Maki and a House Fried Rice. He said they were great too. Their service was good and fast. I also liked the ambience of the place. Their dishes are reasonably priced and I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you want to try some good Asian food.

I'm editing my previous 3/3 review with this review. I've been here many times, but haven't been in a while after moving away from Cleveland Heights.

I was with a group of people and we ordered one dish per person to split between us. We got a Mango Chicken dish, Pad Thai, two Hawaiian rolls, Green Tofu Curry, and Bulgogi.

Fast forward 15 minutes later when the food arrives. At first I was surprised at how quickly the food came, but I soon realized why. The bulgogi was at most half a pound of beef. The Green Curry was ridiculously small. I would have needed at least two of either of those dishes for a meal. It's $13! What a joke. The special rolls also have gotten smaller as well.

After having a bit of each dish, here are my impressions. -Bulgogi: Not only a tiny portion, but tasted syrupy and bad. Not traditional at all and tasted too sweet. -Green Curry: This was actually really good. But the portion size was so unbelievably small. For $13, that is a joke. I've honestly gotten curry lunch specials for $5 with more food. -Hawaiin Roll: This was really good as well, but smaller than before. -Mango Chicken: Terrible. The vegetables and the chicken tasted like nothing, like they were just steamed despite there being a brown liquid in the dish. Way too watered down. Unless you had mango in the bite, it was just bad. And even then it wasn't that great. -Pad That: Really bad. It was dry and was very sweet with nothing to counteract that.

So the bill comes out to $92.XX (what a ripoff, we were still hungry) and my friend who was treating us gives the server $103. She goes up to get her change and the server looks at her and said "Usually you tip 15% or more." For one, she didn't even tip yet, he just assumed that the extra was the tip. Two, even if that was the tip, that's perfectly fine. $10 for bringing out a few plates and giving us water? And three, you don't tell someone how much to tip! It was unbelievably rude. Unfortunately, I didn't quite understand what was happening until after we left because the server when I asked what he just said he said "don't worry about it," but I can say one thing for sure. I'm never going back there to my previously favorite restaurant on Coventry. Maybe if the food was just "meh" I would have given them another...

NOT ALLERGEN SAFE. Ordered takeout off grub hub and specifically ordered peanut free, specifying I have a peanut allergy. Food arrived and it looked to have no peanuts in it (I always double check). I started eating and it was delicious. As I got towards the bottom of the container I started finding peanuts. I drove to the store with my food to show them and asked them how this could have happened. They said they didn’t know and that they cook the batches separately. I asked them to confirm that what I found was peanuts and even had them taste it and they confirmed it was peanuts. I asked them to refund my order and they said they couldn’t because it was through grubhub. So I asked for a gift card or credit for my family’s $60 order and they refused. The most they said they can do is write my name down for a free pad Thai in the future. No thanks - my life is more valuable than one free pad Thai. Super disappointed in the service. Steer clear if you have allergies. There is obviously a lot of cross contamination, even between batches they claim...

i always try to give a resturant a a fair chance before I post a review this place actually used to be good this is the second time I went here and received horrible food and service.I m so digusted I had to post , because a complaint is nothing , all of a sudden they speak no english. First I I went here for lunch and came out with a dinner entree. I asked the waitress numerous for a lunch menu ... apparently there is no lunch at 12:30pm , if you don't speak there native language you might have a problem , my food was hard and burned . my chicken was very dry ,when i asked what happened with that ,she acted like she didn't understand , my food was grosss,, I couldn't get any additional items like extra sauce or plum wine , it was like she was flaking me off ,Also it's never busy or else I would understand. Long story short , I didn't eat ,and 43$ later at lunch time , I was still hungry. This will be the last time they give me horrible service , at this resturant. .. I tried because of my two great experiences about...
