Captain D's — Restaurant in Cleveland

PLEASE READ BEFORE EATING AT THIS LOCATION Came through the drive-thru one week ago, one day after work. I had ordered lobster bites and a meal to find what looked like someone had cut off their split ends and cooked this into the lobster bites. I had already eaten two before realizing this. At first I thought it might’ve just been the way the lobster looked but after breaking open two other bites, it was definitely hair. I’m understanding that we’re human and things happen and one piece of hair in your food from time to time can happen...but this had to be intentional. I was completely disgusted because I’m sure that I had ingested some before realizing this. I immediately called the location to speak to the manager or owner but was told they were not there..I then ended the call and called their corporate office. I spoke with a really sweet lady about the situation and explained I did not want this to happen to any else and it had to be intentional and not an accident. She informed me that she was filling out a report and someone would contact me. I still have not heard anything back and it’s been a week. Not sure if this has been addressed but it very well should be a top priority. I threw the rest of the meal away that I had not yet opened and wasted $10. I took several photos, however not sure if I’m able to attach these and if so I will. Disappointed that this is the world we live in and people do things like this...

Oh my gosh. I never post reviews unless very good or horrible, and this has just been way too much. This is the 3rd time I've been to this Captain D's and literally no one can get orders right. Today, my order was a 3 piece fish meal with fries and macaroni, the second item was a 2 piece fish meal with coleslaw and fries. Then 2 sweet teas, and the last item was jalapeño poppers. The jalapeño poppers were the only thing they got right. We received two 2 piece fish meals. And double fries on both...???? When we came to the window and informed the girl we needed another drink that WAS ON OUR ORDER FROM THE MEALS she told us to pull around the drive thru again and that we'd have to pay for it. I've worked fast food for 6 years and know its not that hard to go fill up a soda and see what a meal intales. This is the absolute worst drive thru experience ever. Either train your workers or don't hire them at all pretty please. Never...

The battered fish has changed. It is not only even smaller, but the batter is completely different and so is the taste and texture. I do not like it. The batter is more chewy than crunchy (and no more crumbs!) and the meat is more fiber-like than flaky. I liked the sweet&sour sauce for many years but it seems so much sweeter than it used to be & I don't like it anymore. The green beans aren't as good either. They have real butter now though, so that's a good improvement. Regular prices are too much for what it is, so I use coupons, until I stopped getting them. I even signed up for their emails to get "special" coupons, BUT THEY DON'T ACCEPT THEM! They also don't put cookies in the kid's meal anymore, not that they EVER remembered to before. The portions & quality seem to be shrinking & the cost increasing. I used to be a regular customer....
